OP, don't feel bad about asking how mush drinks cost. It can have nothing to do with how much money you HAVE to spend, but how much you are WILLING to spend. Most people that do well with their money are very careful about what they spend their money on and how much they pay for it and how can they get a better deal.
Obviously, the pp that questioned you has never heard of CLark Howard, He has a huge amount of money and questions everything and is horribly cheap. (not saying you are cheap, but Clark is) He can afford just about anything he wants, but won't and that is why he has a ton of money.

In fact, I think I'm going to get one of those refillable "water" bottles at CVS with the freezable core... Or, especially if whatever your shot-of-choice is happens to be clear, pour it into an empty water bottle and shoot away poolside
