Anyone ever go to Las Vegas, on a package that included air, some dining, hotel, etc? Any ideas for me on where to find them? Thanks

I've never seen a package that includes dining, but you sometimes see a promotion that includes a meal or two. I wouldn't want a "dining plan" in Vegas like Disney has - we rarely stay around our own hotel for all meals. Too many things to see & do! Prices are so varied in Vegas - everything from food courts, to buffets, to 5 star dining.

You can find LV packages on Expedia, Travelocity, SWAVacations, etc. We've done the WorryFree packages - not sure if they serve your area. They are a "charter" & only fly out of certain airports - they are usually the cheapest, but limited on flight days & times. There are some other charters - Allegiant Air(?) - too, but I'm not sure of all their names.

Pick up some travel brochures from your local AAA or travel agency. That will give you a good starting point.

Were going to Vegas in NOV. I want to stay at the Venetian. I signed up for the promotins on thier web site & they keep sending me offers of $179.00 a night. Hopefully I'll get one I can use in NOV.

Airfare: Down load ding from Southwest. Thats all I got for Vegas tips.

I have DING, so will watch that. THanks for the tips. Another question. Do you think any of the sites, that offer air and hotel together are really giving you a deal? Can you do it for the same or cheaper by just booking them seperate?

I have always done better doing it myself. Like the above poster said sign up at the web sites of the resort you are interested in. We have always gotten great dea a The Flamingo thru emails. goto www.cheapovegas.com hey have great reviews & direct links to all the hotels.

I've always booked the flights and rooms myself. I signed up on the websites of the resorts we prefer to book and have been offered some great deals as a result. Also, in case you didn't already know, it's much less expensive to stay Sunday-Thursday nights. Friday and Saturday nights are much more expensive.

Good luck and enjoy!

We have been to Vegas many times. As a matter of fact, we are thinking of going again at the end of May. I always make the air and hotel reservations separately. I have never found a package deal that is cheaper than doing it myself. I always register for e-mail promotions on the hotels' websites. I am hoping to get a promotional code in the next couple of weeks that I can apply to my current reservation at the Venetian.

Rates in Vegas are always cheaper Sunday - Thursday. Weekends are higher.

Have fun!
