Las Vegas Hotels

All depends on budget. My favorite property is Caesars Palace. The Mirage is cheaper for the same area (mid-strip).

I've stayed at Bellagio and Venetian. Both very nice.

NY, NY is fine if you are trying to make it more economical.

Totally depends on the type of experience you're looking for and the budget you're comfortable with. If I want upscale with the Vegas experience and some wow factor I'd consider the Cosmo, possibly with a terrace or balcony. If I want Vegas with more luxury I'd consider Wynn/Encore. If I want more luxury than Vegas, Mandarin Oriental or the Four Seasons. Purely Vegas with somewhat less luxury, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio, MGM, Caesar's, Mirage, etc., etc. Pool season, location, proximity to appealing dining are also considerations.

I like Paris, especially the renovated rooms. I've been there for business meetings six times and enjoyed the vibe and the location.

I've stayed at Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Luxor & Monte Carlo . My favorite was the Mandalay Bay because of the pool area and lazy river :) reasonably priced too

It really does depend on your budget and the time of the year of your visit. I have stayed at Treasure Island, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, Paris, Mirage, Mandalay Bay and Bellagio. My most recent visit was in August with my adult son. We had a two-bedroom, two bathroom suite at The Mirage (1600 square feet) and the AAA rate was $226 per night. Of course, if I wanted that room when it wasn't 105 degrees or if there was a big convention going on, it would be much, much more. Also, keep in mind that all of the hotels in Las Vegas charge a resort fee of between $25-35 (approximately) per night. I highly recommend staying midstrip.

I just got back from Vegas, this time I stayed at one of the lower cost hotels Ballys, but its center stri and very clean. We got the cheapest room, but when we checked in we changed the 20 dollar trick to the 40 dollar trick, and they upgraded us to a sweet on the top floor with hot tub in the middle of it, it even had a Bidet, I tried it out, not sure I was using it right, lol

I've stayed quite a few places both on and off the strip and my favorite so far is The Elara. It's inside Planet Hollywood's shops so it's quiet yet in the middle of all the action. Plus, it's a Hilton brand hotel and I've always had good experiences with Hilton.

Love Delano at Mandalay Bay. Boutique feel with immediate access to large casino hotel. Also like being at that end of the strip. I would also recommend Aria and Cosmo.

I prefer hotels without a casino as it's a bit quieter in the evenings and I like to relax at "home." So I usually go for the Trump Hotel as it has a fairly reasonable price tag. It's just off the strip though so you'll end up walking a bit more but I actually really like the location as it's a bit quieter at that end.

I've stayed at Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Luxor & Monte Carlo . My favorite was the Mandalay Bay because of the pool area and lazy river :) reasonably priced too

It looks nice but I read that you'll need to get a cab to get to the main part of the strip?

My favorites are Caesar's Palace, the Bellagio, New York New York, and The Luxor.

I can't gamble, so I can't say if the casinos are anything decent.
