Las Vegas help need .

Lots of useful information here! My dh and I will be going (no kids, woohoo!!!) the first week of May for 3 nights. Lots of excellent suggestions here, thanks!

We just got back on Saturday. We stayed off the strip at the Palms, great stay, less than a mile to the action, but nice and relaxing when wanting to step away from all of it. Renting a car I would just go to Red Rocks, and the Hoover Dam. The canyon is really far, we did it a few years ago, and while amazing we wished we would have stay the night, it was just to much. If you have a car or uber over to the Gold Coast Casino and eat at Ping Pang Pong, for the most authentic Chinese you can find anywhere in the US, dim sum, they come around with these carts amazing food. We ate there twice for lunch this last trip. Check out Gordon Ramsey Pub grub at Caesars, Pricey 100.00 for lunch for 2...You have to try the deviled eggs, sooo good. Any of the cirque shows, try Tix4tonight get there early for the best selection of shows. We saw O at the last minute and got great seats for 150 each, really good seats, at the Bellagio, there was some discount.

We will stay at the palms again best spa and massage we have had in a long time.

Is there anything specific you would recommend for just a few hours in Vegas? We are doing a grand circle tour, grand canyon/Moab/Bryce/Zion etc and will fly into and out of Vegas. Our flight comes in at 6:30 pm, but that will be 9:30 our time so thinking about just going straight to hotel. We will be leaving Zion friday morning so will probably get into Vegas around 1:00 pm. Our flights leave at 8am next morning. Just wanting to see a few highlights with teenagers. No gambling, no shows. Staying near the airport, but I think the hotel has a shuttle to the strip.

Check out the hotels. Bellagio, Venetian, lots of cool things to see

For only a few hours.... I would just explore the hotels along length of the strip. You are not likely going to see it all as it's so long. There's also a series of free performances inside and outside the hotels.
