I will be registering on Thursday, payday. I will be driving in Saturday morning and staying thru Wednesday or Thursday for a convention. Right now I have reservations at the Hampton Inn just a few blocks away from Mandalay Bay, but will change it if I find a better rate at one of the closer hotels. And the good news keeps coming, from the RnR Las Vegas website:
