Larry's TR 101 Illuminations

Hi Folks,

Well it's that time of the year again, Larry's little adventure in Walt Disney World, I know it's less than three months since the last trip!!!

However you know, you just have to get some value from your Annual Passes.

And now for the "bad news" - Some may think it good!!

I have decided that I am not going to spend every evening sat on the loo, in my pop centruy loo, writing my TR up....... This trip, I'm going to go out occassionaly, so I can give you my witty observations on the night life at WDW.


So this means that Im going to do a summery report when I get back, It was going to be 101 things I did at Disney, then 101 Damnations, but with a little help from Kevin Rushforth, it is now going to be 101 Illuminations.

Well, I'm looking forward to the trip, and as soon as I get back, I shall tell you all about it.

You forgot to tell us when you are going and when you are coming back so that we can be on the lookout for your reports. I did enjoy your day to day reports but think you may have more fun enjoying the nightlife. Have a wonderful trip.

Gosh Larry, I can't believe that you don't consider sitting in the bathroom every night of your vacation, propped up on the toilet, diligently typing away on your laptop into the wee hours of the morning just so your adoring fans can have a little slice of your delightfully mad sense of humor (or should that be humour?) every day, more fun than going out and actually doing things at WDW.

I thought you were a better person than that. I guess I was wrong.

You realize, don't you, that you now leave us no choice but to have to re-read Kevin Stringer's report and pretend that it's you? After all, all you British types sound just the same to our untrained American ears.

So, go. Have your fun. Don't think about us, sitting in front of our computers in our robes and bunny slippers day in and day out, not moving, not blinking, waiting for a post from you. Don't worry that we'll lose our jobs. Don't worry that our families will dessert us. Don't worry that the neighbors will finally have to call the police because they're worried that our newspapers go unread in our front yards, our cars are never moved from our driveways, and the flies buzzing around the house are causing a health hazard.

No, Larry, just concentrate on yourself and your own good time. After all, it's all about you, Larry. You and your own selfish little ways. You and your ungrateful, self-indulgent, narcissistic........um, I'm sorry. Did I say that outloud? Oh dear.

Well, what I meant to say was "Have a nice trip!"

I would welcome a good sorting out, especially from one so legendary as yourself. However, I feel I must warn you that many before you have tried and failed at the rather daunting task of attitude sorting.

I have no doubt that you wouldn't be anything but kind and firm. As my dear old Uncle Percy (the king of firm) used to say, "A firm Percy in the hand is worth two in the bush." Of course, that was shortly before we had him committed for making no sense whatsoever.

I do hope you have a good trip. I enjoyed your last trip report immensely and look forward to reading about this trip as well.
