Does anyone have any of this artist's work? We saw him in June at the AKL when we were eating at Boma. We didn't buy anything but wished we had. My husband even called the AKL to ask about him, but no one ever picked up the phone. We were at Epcot the next week and saw him outside of the American Pavilion. We bought five of the world showcase ones, the Christmas Epcot and Christmas MK, as well as the Castle one for my inlaws. Once we get them framed and hung we may be interested in more. Any other fans out there?

I wish he could put images of his Disney paintings on his website. They are really nice. We have some of WL and POR by a different artist, but I think I like the Larry Dotson ones better.

I got one of Larry Dotsons signed replicas of the real painting of the Magic Kingdom in 2005 for my dad. He was there during Epcots Flower and Garden festival with a booth of all his paintings. I went home and got it framed and it is beautiful!!!

Another fan of Larry Dotson here! Last year I got to meet him at AKL, and I swear I babbled like I was star-struck. I've got 5 of his pictures, and I try to get a new one every year at the F&G Festival. Unfortunately, at this year's festival, I couldn't find his booth. Anyone know where it was? He's usually also at the American pavillion in December, so hopefully I'll see him again then.

We also saw some of his work in the art store near Space Ship Earth. You may want to check there if you can't find him. Also call the Animal Kingdom Lodge and ask if he will be there.

I have 3 of his prints hanging on the wall. One dated 2007 with Cinderella Castle, One dated 2006 of Epcot with Spaceship Earth and monorail in the background, and one dated 2007 of Animal Kingdom with The Tree of Life and Expedition Everest in the background. Those are the best souveniers I get from WDW. I'll be getting some new ones next time we head down to WDW. I really want one he has of MGM Studios, and I know he also has paintings of the World Showcase Countries.

I got the Epcot one while we were at Epcot last year, but the others I ordered directly from Animal Kingdom Lodge and Art of Disney.

BTW, are the autographs on the prints authentic or just copies??? I know the pix are prints, but I heard somewhere he actually autographs each print.

In 2005 I bought 2 of his prints during the Flower & Garden show. One is the castle with the 'Partners' silhouette in the entry of the castle (Tink is there too!) and the other is Spaceship Earth with the monorail going by...also the flowers are the MM shapes that they do during the F & G show. I really love them. I also wish he was allowed to post the Disney prints on his site.

I have quite a few of Larry's prints. I started my collection of resort 5x7 prints years ago and at that time they had different artists doing the deluxe resort prints. Once they brought Larry on I think they realized the quality of the prints were sooo much better. I have the American Adventure, AKL, Spaceship Earth at Christmas and Spaceship Earth during the F&G Festival. He signed them for us too! I also bought the Great Britain World Showcase print for my parents and sister and had him signed them for gifts. He and his wife had a booth right at the entrance on the left side to the World Showcase this year during the F&G Festival. They are just the sweetest couple!

I just thought of something-I love that picture of Epcot where the monorail is going in front of Spaceship Earth. But since I hate the wand on top of SE, that feature spoils the picture for me. Now that the wand is actually coming down, I hope Mr. Dotson does the same picture, but without the wand. Or even if he could rework the present picture so that it doesn't show the wand. Now, I'd be first in line for that picture!

Larry Dotson and his wife are wonderful people. I have a giclee he did of the castle. Years ago, I bought a print of his. We went on the disney cruise a few months later and there were some cruise ship prints there, but they weren't the same size as what I was looking for. I emailed him, and he responded to me right away. Golf courses are his forte! Now if only he'd do a picture of the castle AND the carousel together!

I believe that the dates and autographs that you see are authentic. If you buy from him in person he will personalize it for you also.

This is a very old thread I realize but I did a search for Larry Dotson and am finding out so much info. Does anyone know if you can buy his stuff online? I looked under the art section of the Disney Store but no luck. We bought 6 Epcot prints (Norway, Japan, France, Italy, Morocco and Mexico) and we would love to collect them all but not too sure when our next trip will be. Plus the Art of Disney store in Epcot didn't have Germany or Canada anyways. But was just looking to find the rest online to complete my collection if possible.
