Larger Parties for Dinner

Does anyone have experience booking larger parties for the week. I called disney and they said they only book parties of nine or less at some places. She did not speak very good english so we had a little communication trouble and I may have missed something.
So if you went with a group of 10 or more did you have trouble booking the reservations and did it take you longer to get seated at your reservation time?

We just got back from Disney. ( We were there from Wed. July 15- Thurs. July 23) with extended family. There were 15 in our group. We did not have any trouble making reservations (and we made them in May.) We did all lunch reservations (and we had one TS each day.) We ate at Crystal Palalce, Sci-Fi diner, 50's prime time, Tusker House, Yak and Yedi, Chefs de France and Tonys. We were always seated within minutes of our reservation time. We were often seated at more than one table, but next to each other, which was fine with us. They even broke out seperate checks for all the different families we had. (There were six families) We found Disney to be very easy to work with.

i've booked as many as 30. You do need to call group dining at 407-939-7707. For some places you will be told that you'll be broken up into two groups (but the tables will be close). Crystal Palace will break you up and believe me, it's better.

I booked for 13 with no problems through regular Disney Dining. We got everything we wanted. You cannot do it on-line for 13, but I don't know the cutoff. Good luck!

Last time we had 13-15 people at our reservation. I was allowed to book most of them through regular disney dining. A few like Flying Fish we had to call the restaurant directly. You just can't book over 10 people reservations onlines.

Thanks for the info everyone. I thought I must have been missing something. The dining rep was very hard for me to understand.
