In general could anyone share some experiences ??

We are a party of 7 and could only get "two tables" at some of our choices with no guarentee of them being together. One is at 11:05 sci fi and the other is a 7:00 pm Raglan Road.

Does anyone have experience doing this and them being able to put you next to each other once you check in ??

Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

well... how large is your party?

the tables at Sci Fi, are either a car that only holds about 6 people (3 rows of 2), or a table that would probably hold about 8. so if your party is bigger than that, you would get 2 separate tables there.

i have never been to raglan road, so i am not sure how the set up is there.

but for the most part, the restaurants try to cater to you. if they can put you together they will, even if they tell you on the phone that it will be 2 tables.

we had a large party of 10 at 50's Prime Time, and they put tables together to accomodate us.

it just depends on where you go, and how their set up is.

good luck! :wizard:

Did they give you one reservation number, or two? If there's one ressie number for the seating, I think they'll put you together (or at least at 2 tables right next to each other).

If you have 2 ressie numbers, most likely they booked you 2 separate tables at 2 different times. But hope is not lost - - if you ALL arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the FIRST ressie, and let them know the situation, they will do their best to accomodate you. I think it's just a limitation in the reservation computer.

Also -- you could try calling back Dining and asking them to switch you to one ressie together. They might be able to fix it for you there.

We've had a party of 7 for our last two trips. We never had any problems sitting together, although we didn't eat at the places you listed. When I made ADR's, the CM told me that if there wasn't a table large enough to accomodate us, they would put us at two separate tabels and they would try to make sure we were seated near each other. Almost everywhere we ate, all 7 of us were seated together at one table. The only place where we were at two separate tables was at the Plaza (and those tables were right next to each other).

yes we are a party of 9 and we are here right now,we had all Split reservation and so far we were never split.......

We had 9 in our party and they did say they couldn't guarentee we'd sit together but when we went up to the host/hostess podium, they brought us together and sat us at tables right next to each other. Those restaurants were: CRT (dinner), LeCellier, LTT, Biergarten, ... ok, I can't remember any of the others... sorry... but they do try to keep you all together.

We had a party of 7 at Sci Fi one time. After waiting 45 min after our ADR time, we finally gave up and sat down. We ended up with 2 in one car, 2 in another car and 3 in a 3rd one .. all in different parts of the restaurant!
