I know there's a thread somewhere....

We currently have a room reserved at HoJo, 2 nights at 15% discount, 5 nights at 50% discount using the Entertainment card.
There's a possibility we will have one too many adults for a single room. What other hotels are there that have larger rooms? We might be a party of 6 adults and one infant. I plan on reserving a second room at HoJo, but if I can find a better deal than average of $162/night BEFORE taxes (cost of two identical HoJo rooms for the time frame), I'm interested.

Edit to add: three of the "adults" will be just 21. I remember reading about a hotel where they are still kids....

Thanks!

I have not stayed, but check out Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites. There website shows some pretty big rooms for decent rates (depending on your dates)

The residence inns have larger suites. We had a 2 bedroom (1 king, bunk beds, and sofa bed in living room) for $152/night at the one in Garden Grove this past September.

I believe the max room occupancy in all of Anaheim is 5 to a room due to safety restrictions by the Fire Marshall. What are your dates? You probably should try to get 2 rooms if you have 6. There's no telling what the hotel will do/say if they see you all walk in together. A cheap place that a lot of people recommend in a pinch is the Anaheim Plaza. The last time I stayed there in 1997, the rooms were okay, but definitely not Hojo. (Not even close.) They did have a nice Olympic pool and jacuzzi. You will see mixed reviews about them. The plus is at least they are AAA rated again. They were when we stayed there and then lost their rating for a few years.:scared1: (Must've been really bad for them to lose it.) They also have suites which is basically 2 connecting rooms.
Some people highly recommend the Super 8 for a cheap, surprisingly nice place to stay. I think it's on Disney Way.
IIRC, either Camelot or Tropicana have a family suite that should hold 6. Try to check their websites. I don't have the address but you could google it. They are both on Harbor.
Recently there have been several positive posts about Desert Palm Inn and Suites; same owner as Desert Inn.
I think most of the hotels count an adult as 18 years of age or older.
Good luck!

We've stayed at the Anaheim Plaza twice. You can get decent rates on orbitz sometimes too. For a while I saw one for $59 but it disappeared. Typically I think it's around $69 or $73. So not too shabby. It's not a fancy room by any means. Just a regular hotel. It's older but that never bothered us since we're only there to sleep. We had a fridge and microwave both times we stayed there, which was nice. And the walk to the parks is only about 10 minutes.
