I have ADR made for between 8 & 11 for 10 days in Dec. I noticed most are separate tables. Is this the norm?

I made my reservations in June the day I became eligible. My brother is making me nervous he is always late.

Will they seat me before he arrives if we have 2 tables under 1 reservation?

What if he is a no show:scared1:

Yes, they will seat you. :) You have to remember that Disney has very few tables for big parties, so they'll often try and sell the two-table adr to larger groups. They'll do their best to get you at tables next to each other. If your brother is late, though, they might give the table meant for him to someone else. You can't ask them to hold a spot for someone who is not there. Tell your brother to show up on time!

The Crystal Palace wouldn't seat us until we were all there. Even though 1 was only gone for a smoke she made us wait until he came back from it before seating us.

Garden Grill Seated us though even though we weren't all there yet.

That is a good question. Since it is 1 reservation they may not seat you until everyone is there even though it is 2 tables. I think it would be dependant upon the Restaurant. If he doesn't show and it is a restaurant that takes a credit card deposit then according to the rules they could charge you the late cancellation fee. Like others said it is pretty easy, make sure he gets there on time.

Good Luck,

B.

Crystal Palace wouldn't seat our party of eight. Our son took a walk to talk to his girlfriend on his cell phone while we waited. Our table was ready and couldn't be seated until we located him and would only hold the table for a few minutes.

Making a grown man do anything is not easy. Last week he told me he is upset he is going on the trip for 10 days. He thinks he will be in hell.

I only care about getting my ADR at this point. He thinks it is crazy making reservations:rotfl:

The Grandgathering planners said I can take him off if I need too without loosing my ADR on the dinners with more than 1 table. I do not want to do that ......yet.

That was going to be my suggestion. Why let one ruin it for all? I have also had to wait...more than once...for all my party to be there before being seated.
