Does anybody remember the wall sized resort map they sold at city hall on main street ? If so do you know if they still sell it or where i could get a picture of it?
I don't know specifically the one you are talking about, but I have a very large Disney World resort map hanging on the wall in my office. It has a Mickey hot air balloon in it if that helps. I found it on ebay. I love it, but it doesn't have Animal Kingdom on it. I wish I could find one with all four parks.
Unless my eyes are deceiving me, that 2nd link listed is a very old map. I don't see Space Mountain or Big Thunder on there. That would put it pre-1975.

Did you see the first map is listed at $24 and the shipping is $10? I hate when sellers do that. I might pay the $24 for the map, but I'm not an idiot and am not going to pay $10 for you to put it in an envelope to send it to me.

I know what you mean. I was looking at an adorable keychain on ebay, and was going to buy it until I noticed the shipping was $14.99!!! For a keychain!!!! No way.
I also have one of the early maps hanging at home. Bought on Ebay a few years ago for $30 or so. Spent about 3x as much on the frame, but it looks awesome hanging in our Library (yes, we have a Library! Extra room in front of house we didn't know what to do with!). If I remember/have time tonight I'll post a pic.
There's also a cool FW insert (8.5 x 11) map from the 70's that would look cool in a frame as well.

I just don't understand why sellers do that. I guess they want to draw you in with the lower price to look at the listing. It's so annoying though, you see the item at a good price, but then when you bring up the whole page you find out the shipping is outrageous. I always check the shipping cost, but I wonder how many people don't notice the shipping until it's too late.

Some sellers charge higher shipping prices because then they don't have to pay eBay the fees. I see a lot of stuff for 1 cent but the shipping will be $30. That's how they skirt fees to both eBay and Paypal.
