Nothing to do with Disney but was wondering if anyone has been to Lapland for a day trip? My wife, son John aged 8 and I are planning on going this December from Cardiff. Anyone got any advice such as who to book with and cost?

Oh WOW You Must Go I Treated My Nephew & A Friend A Few Years Ago It Cost Me A £1,000 For The Day Trip But In My Opinion Was Well Worth Every Penny I Booked It Through An Ad In The Paper,If You Google Lapland Daytrips Something Will Appear Have Fun I Plan To Return One Day But Stay A Few Nights & Take My DH

We went with canterbury travel ( lapland specialist) it was a very long day but well worth it !

its also very expensive but if you can put that to one side then go for it...we did sleigh rides sledgeing saw santa and the elves etc

We took the girls a few years ago, we went with Canterbury Travel and did a 3 night stay. It was very expensive but worth every penny, definitely a must do trip. It was all very well organised with sleigh rides, husky and reindeer rides etc and obviously we found Father Christmas, we also stayed in a log cabin which was beautiful.

Thanks for the replies, will probably book the one day special with Canterbury. I have managed to sell various body parts, not all mine! to fund this.
