Anybody have a suggestion as to where I can get lap trays for the car? I need 2 compact ones that will fit over the car seats of my 2 and 5 year old for the drive to WDW. Any help would be appreciated.
We have three from one step ahead (they are white, and very thin, with a cupholder) We had one of the ones from walmart, but they have things that come down so it can stand, and they do not fit over the carseats. They are easy to use, and can be strapped behind them (we don't do that though, they just rest on there laps)
I saw a new Fisher Price one this week-end that was really nice. It was soft padded for safety and was a great size for a preschool age child. I"think" it was around 15.00.
I bought simple foam core board from the Dollar Tree and cut it to size. It worked great, and it was cheap! Plus, it was very lightweight so I didn't have to worry about it being a "projectile object" in the car.
I used the ones from One Step Ahead that went into the groove of the window and folded down. Granted that was several years (and vehicles) ago. We also tried the rubbermaid type lap desks with side pockets on each side with the booster seats.
