We are off to DL next month with my 11 month old son and I was curious as to which rides he can sit on our laps on and which he has to just sit next to us on.

Oh and are there any rides where if I have him in the baby carrier he can stay in it? (I use an O&A so we are tummy to tummy not forward facing)

Anyone have a list or know where I can find one?

Thanks!

NOt sure about the baby carrier, but for laps I held my DD when she was a year old on: teacups, Peter Pan, Train, Casey jr. train and most of the rides at Bugs land in DCA.

We just got back and took DS (6 months), we also took DD when she was 8 months (she's 2 now). I took DS on just about everything in the Ergo carrier (not forward facing in that one either) and had no problems. I know you can't use a carrier on things like Dumbo, Astro Oribitors, but I did on TSM, Jungle Cruise, all of a Bugs Land, Buzz Lightyear, Winnie the Pooh (multiple times) and IASW. The only one he had to sit next to us was on the Lady Bug Boogie in A Bugs Land, but they let that slide since he was so little, I'm sure with an 11 month old he would have to sit next to you.

I can tell you that on Autopia they will not let them ride on your lap (which makes sense). I took DD on it when she was 1 and she hated it and kept trying to climb into my lap. In addition to the others already mentioned, DD sat between my legs on POTC.

DS was 18 mo on our last trip and the only ones he couldn't sit on my lap was Lady Bug Boogie (didn't ride Autotopia but that has a 30 or 32" height requirement). We took DD#3 at 6 months and she could ride nearly everything in the carrier. We were told on Winnie the Pooh we'd have to face her out, but she was asleep so they let it go.

DS rode in the carrier (4 months at the time) on POTC. Slept the entire ride.
Had a similar experince to the other posts with rides for laps and carriers. He was not able to do Autotpia.

Excellent! It's nice to know if he is in the carrier that we can still go on some rides and which ones DH or I can hold him on.

Thanks everyone.
