Lanyards

Does anyone know if you get free lanyards with plastic cases when you stay at Royal Pacific Resort (RPR) to put your Express Pass photos and park tickets?

Have stayed at all onsite hotels and have never received one. We always choose ours at the Universal store. Lots of selections. Put express pass in one window, park ticket on other window side and room key in the middle. Park ticket and express pass easily scanned through the windows.

Thanks, we can't wait. The Lanyards we currently have are just plastic but don't have separate windows. Hopefully we can make it work putting the park ticket and express pass back to back with the room key in the middle.

Back to back is what I do, and I assume everyone else, too.
Lanyards make a great souvenir since they are just $10 and there are so many to choose from. The hotel gift shop has some, but the choices are limited. All the stores have lanyards though.

last year for the welcome gift at rpr, i did receive a lanyard. (not a UO one but hotel ribbon style one)
also received a few other items for being a loews youfirst member.
don't know if it was due to being a platinum member or not.
other items that were in my welcome to loews left in the room were the wooden back scratcher and the bowl of fruit.

everyone received a lei when they check in last october.
if there are no lines waiting for check in, could be no employee will be there to hand out the leis to new guests coming in.
saw that happen before.

all guests got the leis last october, don't know what the welcome gift to the hotel will be this fall.

and, last year the lanyards for the hotel were one of the youfirst gifts but that could change when i return in october.
it's a hit or miss of what the hotel is giving out at that time.

Yeah, we do have souvenir lanyards from a couple of years ago. One is from Transformers and the other one is just a generic Universal Studios Lanyard. I guess we will use those unless we see something better

Yes as Mac said they were given out as part of the Loews you first to platinum members last year. We received a few on two trips last October and gave them away. They were nothing special and pretty cheap if you ask me. But this was the only time we have received them in all our years of many stays.

We have a really old Universal studio one from 2003. These we use and normally get questions from new TM's.

Now back scratchers, we have so many of those too and got sick of the RPR music CD too. We started giving those to people in the lobby or elevator walking out.

I was getting so many. Plus I just thru out a stack when cleaning out. I got one left. To be honest don't care for the music.

Also checked, I saved 2 lanyards. They are still in the plastic bags I got them in.

Here are some of our RPR back scratchers too, like 18-20 of them, lol.

They used to give YF kids like small etch a sketch and digital download music token to redeem when you return home, but I have none of those from yeas ago.

I got the lanyards inside Universal at $8.95 each. You are able to put 2 express passes back to back and just flip round for scanning.

We're not platinum but are You First members and have stayed at RPR 4 or 5 times. We have never got a lanyard, nor a CD, nor a back scratcher, nor a big basket of munchies. I think we got a few pieces of fruit once and cookies another time. One time when the kids were all young, they each got a Little People vehicle and person. It's been almost two years since we've been to RPR though - so we'll see what happens this time!

We're planners - any place outside of universal that you would recommend getting lanyards that won't fall apart and have the plastic pouch included?

when you hit platinum level, you will get the extra items also.
all you first members get the welcome fruit bowl in their room.

Rather than start a new thread, I have a related question.

Is there anything other than a lanyard that is equally as convenient? I just don't like wearing them.

a pouch on a wristlet could be an option but it would be dangling against your arm all the time.

i'm good with lanyards
very few times i just stick the pass, ep, etc in my bra.
