Lanyard question

I am looking on ebay for pins and lanayrd for my DS. He has several pins already, but nothing to put them on. What is the difference between the regular pin trading lanyards and the cast member ID lanysrds? Can you put pins on the cast member lanyards?

I was told that the cast member lanyards are mainly used to hold the cm's ID. I don't think it's meant to hold pins like the wider lanyards do.

The regular pin trading lanyards are made of heavier webbing material.

You can find the wider lanyards on ebay. They also sell cute black wide lanyards with Tinkerbell on them for less than $7 at Hot Topic.

I won 2 lanyards last night for DS and DD. They already have pins on them.

I am here at WDW now and have been seeing the CMs with a narrow lanyard that holds their name badge. They are not for pins. It is really like a black cord.

I just bought the black Tink lanyard at HotTopic yesterday for all my Tink pins ( 6 so far)! Try Claire's, Icing and maybe even Wal-Mart's jewelry section to see if they have anything similar!

PS- I was down MS USA and some pointed out to her friend that I had a lot of pins! LOL! I have about two dozen! Oh I also found a hidden pin at Expo Hall of Mickey and the Firefighter! So happy I remembered CM's have those!
