Lanyard for FOTL

We leave Saturday and I can't find a lanyard with a holder for our FOTL passes anywhere. I've looked at Walmart, Target, Kmart and Walgreens. Can anyone suggest where else I might try? I'm pretty sure the Disney Store at the mall has them but that would be very uncool to wear Disney lanyards on our Universal vacation. Also, is our room key the FOTL pass or is it a separate pass?

I don't have any other suggestions of where you might look, when I bought mine I got them at Wal-Mart. I can answer your other question though, your room key is your front of the line pass.

You could buy them at the gift shop in your hotel. That's what we did last year when we stayed at RPR. We bought wallet lanyards that had a window in them to display our room keys for FOTL access. They were about $5 each.

Thanks for the info. I figured Universal would have them at the gift shop but thought they'd be outrageous like $15. $5 is good though so I guess I'll just wait and get them when we get there. Thanks!

I got a great one w/ a water bottle holder and another 2 clips for other items as well, however it was at Downtown Disney. They had such a huge selection of lanyards there (disney and non disney) if you get stuck you could hit there.
I am bringing my disney one for this trip-but guess the kids will need one too? Also the price was not bad either under $10 from what I remember, it was sold seperate from the lanyard though. good luck

Try looking in either Office Depot or Office Max.

I found two style at Walmart. They are in the jewelry/sunglass area, next to the wallets...I had been looking for some for quite a while, but not in the right area of the store. I think each style was $ or $3. Hope you find some, it certainly came in handy at WDW, I am looking forward to using it at US/IOA this weekend..

Be careful with the Walmart billfold /window numbers. My daughter had one of those torn apart before we reached the turnstiles. My fave is from 2003 HNN that we received with our express passes (indestructable!)

I had actually looked in that dept at Walmart but couldn't find any so maybe they were just out. I don't want them to be too cheap though and have break or not hold the card tightly. Office Depot may be a good idea as they often have those at conventions. I'll try them tomorrow. Worse comes to worse I'm sure I can get them on site. Thanks all!

Where are you staying? Just ask, the Universal hotels will give them to you. We did not get ours at check-in (PBH), but I just asked at concierge and they gave me one for each of our party.

MotherFletcher, did you ever get your "complimentary" lanyards? Did they come with the little plastic sleeves? How was the quality? The ones we get at BG Williamsburg always wind up tearing.

Try Office Depot. We found some there but didn't buy them because they came in larger packs. They were in with the pass holders. The ones we looked at were just a simple black band with a small clip on it that held a small clear plastic pouch that was just the right size for passes.

I bought two in different sizes last week at Office Max for our May trip. Both are made of very sturdy black canvas with a clear window on the front and a zipper compartment in the back. Thought the zipper compartment would be very handy for cash, AAA card, ID, etc. One is a little bigger, so I can also carry lipstick, comb...must look good for the pix, right? They were less than $5.

I like that they are not park-specific...we will be able to use them at Six Flags over Georgia and the new Hardrock park in Myrtle Beach later this year.

A little OT but, if you put the lanyard under your shirt, can you wear it on the coasters? Or, better to put it in a secure pants pocket?
