Landry’s card now gives no priority?

I saw somebody posted that their card now gave no priority over ADR bookings, you just join a wait list, which could be a long wait.

Has this been what everybody has been finding recently? Or were they unlucky? Thinking of Yak & Yeti specifically.

I saw that too. Would be helpful to know. We’re doing Y&Y on our arrival day. I booked us late for lunch, but we should be there 2-3 hours before that. My plan was to use my card to get in early. So hopefully it works.

I guess it depends on your definition of priority. We've used it twice at Y&Y over the past couple years. Once we waited about 10 minutes, once about 20 - both for lunch. We were quite pleased with the walk-up option, especially since they were not taking any regular walk-ups at the time. We've already waited 20 minutes at a restaurant when we had a regular ADR, so not a problem as far as we were concerned.

Yes, that is the way it has been in the past. However somebody said the system has changed recently, so I was hoping for some very recent experiences.

Ours was first week of December, 2021. And it was a relatively busy day, and they still took us within 20 minutes.

I used mine for lunch at Y&Y in early January when there were no ADR's available and we were seated right away - party of 3. I am going to check the Landry website as I plan to use it for Y&Y as well as RFC in early April.

eta - I just checked the website and nothing has changed, Landry Club members are eligible for priority seating.

Also, you can call directly to the restaurant and make a reservation with your Laundry membership number. I didn’t found any reservation on the Disney system and I did it that way and they made a reservation for me directly, but they asked for the name and members number.

I was told you can't make reservations by phone when I called last. You can only do it through the Disney website now.

I did it for December 2020. You can do it if you are a Laundry’s member. Not allowed for guests without it. The first thing the ask is for your membership number and full name to validate that it is valid.

I just called to the number on the Yak and Yeti page and they confirmed me that still available to do reservations directly with them for Laudrys members (apply 60 days policy) right now they are doing up to April 22. Also, confirms that we still have priority seating subject to availability for not reservations parties up to 6 people.

Worked for us recently. Last time party in front of us was told 3 hours, we were told to come back to podium in 30 minutes.

They claimed that when they asked, they were told that there was no priority over adrs.
Good to hear nobody else is finding that though. Must have been a new cast member I suspect, who was unaware.

I've seen almost all of the above.

Called for a reservation in June 2021 -- acquired with no issue as a LSC member.

Called for a reservation in November 2021 -- told no more reservations were available (week of Thanksgiving, so understandable).

Walked up at 1 PM in November 2021 and asked for a LSC VIP table (while showing my card) and was told that the wait for priority seating was ~ 3 hours (it was also raining this day).

Walked up four days later in November 2021 at 11:30 AM and asked for a LSC VIP table and was seated within 5 minutes.

Walked up on January 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM and asked for a LSC VIP table for SEVEN (knowing the rule is 6) and was seated instantly.

I can confirm that it still works :)

The rule is 6? They’ve seated our party of 13 before with no problem after showing my card. I did not know the rule, but will be asking them to seat 7 in June.
