I have a few questions regarding the land/sea package.

Do these packages include the park hopper tickets for WDW, or just the reservations at the hotels?

I'd like to talk DH into one of these next spring....if I can get the $$ to come out correctly we may just be cruising in 2005!

thanks

The land and Sea include a length of stay pass for the time that you are at the resort.

I would also recommend looking at booking each portion seperately, it may be possible to save a good bit of money that way :-)

I second Amanda, especially if you aren't going to be able to do everything that they offer with the package. Price what you would use and see if you come out ahead.

I'll look into doing it seperate..Im sure after our April trip- DH will catch the disney magic and say lets do it....

I think in another year, we'd be ready for a cruise....

thanks again, these boards are great.

By all means look in doing it seperatly but this is our second
Land & Sea trip and it was much cheeper booking the package!

I do always book an extra night on my own (room only without
the tickets at DW because we arrive so late in the evening you
are waisting a whole days tickets).

I always reed you could do cheeper booking seperatly but
maybe its the time of year (we did one in October and this
one will begain Jan. 1 2004) but it was much more expensive to
book each part on its own.

Try both ways and see.

I agree with wintermom. We did the package in August and our TA gave us a great deal. She even went the extra mile to see if it would be cheaper to book the vacation separately and found out they can give us the package cheaper. Also, with a package all the transfers are taken care of. I don't think that's included if you book it separately.

If this is your first trip (both DCL or WDW), I would book the land/sea package. It will be stress free for you with all the little details covered, such as transportation, bag transfer, check in, etc. When we did the package in Oct 02, it wasn't our first trip to WDW, but our first DCL cruise. Although this board offers every link to any information you want for DCL having it all planned out for us made our trip much more enjoyable. It was so easy to just leave our bags in our room on our sale date before we went off to play at AK. Someone went to our room and got our bags to port for us.....not one worry for us! One small detail taken care of that could have been a bag lagging nightmare! I am a sucker for convienence! Just my opinion though! :wave2:

it wont be our first DW trip- though it would be our first cruise...

i worked as in International Travel Agenty prior to DD's....however we did NOTHING with disney world...(hence the international part)

While booking our trip this coming April, I have looked both ways, package/travel agent/alone...and have come out way ahead booking components seperatly....but I will definetly double check all avenue's prior to commitment on either way.

thanks
