If you consider adding water to a box of potato flakes then yeah, I cook  I did brown the hamburg and pour it into a casserole dish but the corn was frozen and the potatoes were instant...he can "think" that I made the potatoes from......well, potatoes.

Aren't they the kind made from real potatoes?
I'd say that qualifies.

Wait.

You people cook? I guess I am on the wrong thread afterall. Too bad, I was feelin the love.

Talk to my DH he will clear up any inlcinations you might have that I cook.:lmao:

I think the cook to drive-thru ratio is about equal here.

Drive thru and ordering curb side, my two favorite things to do, psst and I let my car idle while doing both

Ok I edited my post. Sorry if I icked anyone out...I am a tell it like it is kinda gal sometimes. But not all the time.

You need to put a disclaimer before this post. :scared: There's a man hanging around here now.
Hope it gets better.

I accept your apology. Please try and be more discreet. You can always talk about the monthy bill:goodvibes

Who's the man?

:scared:

Doesney, sorry - I didn't see your question. I believe Jack-Jack is estrogen challenged, but I suppose the references to his/her wife could have meant "life partner."

You know it was, bc shortly after question DS5 was bellowing "I dont like this episode of Spongebob" which means "mom get your touche in here and change the channel or listen to me freak" Lovely huh, tyring to break this endearing habit.:rolleyes1

Is it bad if I have known for the past 2yrs. that at 2pm Nick Jr is over & Sponge Bob comes on. Except in the summer time when the whole schedule changes.

If it is, I was bad, too. Mine are in school now, but if DS is ever home sick he complains when it turns 8:00am because all the 'baby' shows come on.

I am so tired of SpongeBob. I've seen/heard some of those 100 times, I swear! (And yet I often find myself stopping what I am doing and laughing:blush:)

Wait.

Confession time:I like to cook and bake.
I just complain about it when I don't feel like doing it.

errrr I am ready to flip, I have been on the thread about people standing in traffic to solicit donations and some people just floor me, from what I am gathering from the posts poor kids should not play sports unless they can afford it. Little League is a luxury:confused3 , maybe I am ultra senisitive bc my dad always told me we couldnt afford it and girls didnt need to play sports but cmon. I think someone got cut as a kid or something....I am glad most of our area rec leagues give scholarships.

Here ladies, your appliance of the day. 100 extra points if you know how to use it.;)

Steam_Iron.jpg

Ooohhh Ooohhh, I USED one of those last week! My DD's patches had to be put on her uniform. There was this one patch...I ironed and ironed and it wouldn't stick:confused3 .....turns out I should be using a needle and thread :lmao: (I think I have some superglue somewhere :rolleyes1 )

I wonder if "Jack-Jack"'s screen name should be "Pat-Pat" ;)

So we're getting liquored up??? Woo Hoo!

Doesney....I kinda like to cook too....but I'd rather do it while someone else took care of my kids, husband and house for me....oh, and did all the clean up. Tonight is London Broil with a smoky mesquite marinade over rice.

So whats for dinner tonight???

Shephards Pie here, ready to go into the oven when DH gets home. Then off to work I go....again!

I LOVE shepherd's pie! We are having our Blue and Gold dinner tonight, so all I had to "cook" was Ambrosia -enough for 15 people. 5 ingredients, I am putting the coconut on the side...The pack is supplying fried chicken and cake..

I actually had a very productive day today..I went over to the "DARK SIDE" of perfect mommyhood. I FINALLY finished the kitchen..I cleaned/scrubbed the walls in Slobbermouth's room, made labels for DS's Valentine candy bags, went over to the church to help set up/decorate for the dinner tonight..then I went into the school library and shelved books for an hour.

The house is still unpresentable. Tomorrow will be another big WINNER day. If DBIL asks for a tour of the house, I am in trouble. I can't wait for LOSERTIME AGAIN.

So have you guys been staying out of trouble today, or have you been hunting trolls?

I got a new phone. It has an instruction manual that is 264 pages long. I think I should return it and just use my old phone. I think I am going to break this one. What the heck is Bluetooth?

I have officially turned into my mom.

Okay, I have missed a lot of yakking, but I just had to share a story on this one.

One of my best friends took me shopping with her for Christmas presents. Her 16 y/o son wanted an iPod. She was standing there with the guy at the electronics store saying, "What is the difference between these two... other than the fact that one costs $100 more?" So, they guy starts explaining about memory and that the more expensive one can hold twice as many songs. She says, "How many does the cheaper one store?" He said something like 1500 songs. She looks at me and says, "Even if you throw in Row, Row, Row Your Boat and Happy Birthday, I don't think I even KNOW 1500 songs..."

After choosing the cheaper one, she then proceeded to ask, "Now, exactly how does the song get into this little bugger?"

The sad part is, I didn't know any more than she did. I know the guy was laughing at us.

I have no idea what I'm making for dinner. I'm thinking a buffalo chicken salad, but we'll see what I find at the grocery store.

We're in for some nasty weather here tonight. There has already been some bad tornado damage near Cocoa Beach, and the worst for us in Central Florida is yet to come. If I don't check in sometime in the next week, somebody come pick the house up off of me.

Should not have mentioned the house...all I can think of is a bumper sticker I saw once, "Things just havn't been the same since they dropped that house on my sister."

My dad is on the emergency response team in his county (Flagler). He said he's going to have a long evening.

Don't get all excited about my dinner...it involves a bottle of pre-made marinade, a zip lock baggie and a broiler
