11/4 - Part 2 Animal Kingdom
This is the second park that my parents chose to visit. They said they are told old for the roller coasters, etc. Yeah right. This was my cousin's first visit to AK.
When we arrived at the park, it appeared crowded. Me - The Fastpass Runner, was able to talk my father into riding Ex. Everest with me. My cousin and mother decided to just be in the same picture as it.
I scored a time of 10:38 - 11:38 to return. So the women decided to look in some stores while my father decided to check out a bench. My cousin had been taking her time in looking for the right shirts and gifts. She found a nice shirt with Animal Kingdom on it. She also found a cute Mickey keychain with our sorority colors (pink & green).
We did the Maharajah Jungle Trek
I love The Tree of Life
We then made our way back to where my father was sitting. He was talking to a nice woman from CA. Since I - The Fastpass Runner, was going to go on a ride, my cousin became responsible for getting us fastpasses for Kilimanjaro Safaris.
I think Ex. Everest is by new bestest (like that word

) ride.
We waited no more than 5 min from entrance to the train. We didn't have time to take in the que line. I have been in the main line and loved it. All the different things to look at seemed to make the wait easier. I asked my father if he was going to wear his glasses and he said that if he removed them, then he couldn't see. So we boarded the train in search of the Yeti. I pointed out the sites to him when going up the hill. Also I had to concentrate on holding on to the camera. I had detail instructions to not return to Georgia without the camera. I think my sister really meant that. So it was enjoy the sites, enjoy the ride, makes sure daddy doesnt' have a heart attack, and hold on to the camera.
Here is the outcome
Gmax, I rotated the picture
My daddy said that he like the ride but didn't want to go back on it today. Good enough for me. I made him buy the picture so we could rub it in my sister's face that he rode it before her.
We met up with my cousin and mother to wait for our 12:30 fastpass time for the safari. I did take some nice pictures, but photobucket took so long in uploading pictures that I will add them later. This was the first safari where I had a good view of the lions.
After the safari, my father knees began to bother him. So we made our way out of the park. Now it is funny how real life hits as soon as you walk out of the gate. Upon walking back to the car, we heard this couple yelling at each other about being f*@& ignorant, etc. It appeared they didn't know where they were going and began blaming the oversite on the other. It was sad. We watched as they carried their "conversation" over to the resorts buses.
We arrived back at Ft. Wilderness to relax and eat. Our breakfast at Chef Mickey's had worn off big time. We had Sloppy Joes and watched movies. I went to bed early because I was tired. The next day we would be leaving Disney
