I saw on IG (and now can't find the post) that the menu at Lamplight Lounge has changed. Lobster nachos are only now offered at the walk-in dining upstairs, apparently. The menu here doesn't look terribly interesting any more: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/en...rnia-adventure/lamplight-lounge/menus/dinner/ and https://disneyland.disney.go.com/en...rnia-adventure/lamplight-lounge/menus/brunch/

We have both a brunch reservation and a dinner one and I am wondering whether to keep either - I've actually never been to LL!!

LL is our favorite but we really only go there now for Brunch because it is hands-down the best meal they offer there! If you like brunch, I would keep that one. The chilaquiles are amazing, and so is the French Toast! We have not had the tamales, as that is a new addition, but we will definitely order those next time! We also love the potato flautas!

Oh my gosh. My sister loves the lobster nachos. Last trip I messed up and got a brunch reservation. We are going on Sunday, have dinner reservations and now this 😭 How does the walk in dining work? (I wonder if there is anyway they would let us still order them)

They usually don't let you order from the other restaurant's menu.

Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining is the upstairs restaurant. There is a kiosk near the umbrellas. They take your name and phone number and text you when your table is ready.

Since you have never been I would still keep the reservations. Being seated down below was a very cool experience and offer great viewpoints.

I would still ask about ordering the lobster nachos, all they can say is no.

Please report back! The nachos would be a dealbreaker for me as it's my top Disneyland food. Will be bummed to hear you can't get them if you have a reservation and will have to do walk up!
I ate at Lamplight yesterday. We had brunch but were there late enough that they were serving the regular lunch menu by the time we left. I overheard the table next to us ask about nachos and the server told them there are no more nachos at all of any type downstairs (the reservation part of the restaurant). Two types of nachos are at the boardwalk dining right now.

Bizarre decision by Disney. That location has been associated with lobster nachos for 25 years. I'm sure the 2 restaurants share a kitchen, so its not an operational issue. They could just charge more for the nachos downstairs if its a margin issue.

I would guess it's a demand balancing thing. Reservations for the downstairs are tough to get, whereas usually you can walk up to the upstairs with just 10-20 min wait. There are also usually tons of open tables upstairs with the constraint being staffing. Push a few guests upstairs maybe drives more revenue from the combination?

Personally, I think the lobster nachos are a bit overrated (don't love the sauce) and prefer the nachos at Craftsman Grill!

Ugh. Do not like that decision at all.
It’s really disappointing and impossible to understand from a guest service pov. Especially annoying that it was on the menu when I made the reservation that I had to get up at 6am to make (which is torture for my insomnia). I’ve so been wanting to make up for my res mistake two and a half years ago :( I don’t need corporate Disney trying to teach me oldest sibling, people-pleasing life lessons lol.

Yea same here, our first experience at LL was not good. Super slow service. Cold food, no refills on drinks.

Hoping for a better experience this go. But , no need to goto the sit down if we wanted to just get munchies and especially nachos.
