Can some one give me the link to the thread on how to make the Mickey head lamp posts pleeeasee

There are several threads here on DisBoards, including my instructions, but you can always find my instructions here: http://www.carol-anne.ca/Mickey Lamp.htm

Thank you for your clear directions! We went to Home Depot today and got all the parts and put it together and it looks great. We did use loctite but it was the gel kind for plastic ( not flexible adhesive, they didn't have that). We also used a rubber connector for the post cap and that holds it tight without needing the set screws.

I have a question for you. Do you see the light cord that is inside at all? On ours you do, so my dh moved it towards the side a bit. Maybe our cord was too long or something, who knows?

oh and thanks also for your trip reports. DH and I just bought a class c motorhome, we still have two kids at home and are looking forward to our first trip to FW ( our next trip is January 2013, we are staying at POP though.)

If you see the cord just turn the globe while holding the fitter. That will pull the cord away from the inside of the globe and it will disappear.

Glad you like your lamp. why don't you post a picture!
