Happy Easter!
I have a Disney trip booked for the end of May. We always stay on a Disney property and decided to try something different. We have to boys, one 14 and one 11. We wanted more room. We have stayed Value, Moderate and Concierge Deluxe.
Our dilemma. I booked our stay at Lake Eve resort and we were excited for the great value and the beautiful spacious condo. Then my husband read some disturbing reviews on Trip Advisor about they giving rooms away and how they charge your first nights stay the day you arrive. You would be in transit if they have an issue with your credit card. Too many people had that issue. We were uneasy about a few other details we read about.
I called Buena Vista Palace with a question and I was presented with a great Summer deal of one night free plus $20 reimbursement for gas. It was not much more than Lake Eve.
I am torn. We love the resort feel of Disney World and while Lake Eve is beautiful and affordable, I fear that we will be disappointed with not having the Disney feel. Buena Vista Palace has a two room suite that has more room than CBR or Beach Club or even Polynesian, and still keeps you in the heart of Disney.
Can you share your thoughts if you have stayed at either properties?
