Ladies-Where Do you Clothes Shop?

Congrats!! That is a fantastic achievement! My friend that dresses really cute & slightly sexy shops at the Loft. I hope to try there once I hit goal too.

Congrats on your weight loss.. I am a fan of Kohls. I also do buy things at NY and Company as well. I also do somethings at other stores but have great luck there.

macy's (incredible selection), GAP, banana republic. and they all have great coupons if you get their cc's.
occassionally, i'll pick up a cute top at old navy, although i'm not a fan of the quality normally, the price is great for a season of wearing:thumbsup2

i find target clothes look cheap, and sears a bit too dowdy (and their trendy stuff looks very past season).

kohls has been a hit or miss, but they are great for basic t's and such. NY9&C is also good for basics and cute accessories.

congrats on the weight loss:thumbsup2

Love Ann Taylor Loft, and Express.

A little pricier and dressier clothes, my favorites are, Cache and White House, Black Market.

Hurray for the weight loss! Way to go - it's definitely time to get some new clothes to celebrate. :cool1:

I was surprised that only one other poster mentioned Coldwater Creek. I'm a pooh-sized gal these days so I haven't shopped there in awhile but I did so dearly love their outfits. They're stylish but without looking too teeny-bopper or too mature. Warning: their items can be a little on the spendy side without coupons / discount codes, but do check their "outlet" section of the website - you'll find some great deals. Here's the apparel section: http://www.coldwatercreek.com/outlet-apparel.aspx?ProductsPerPage=0

I agree. I get the BEST deals by signing up for their email and going to the stores when they are having a big sale. I bought a jacked last week for 13.99. It was $44 the next day on their site.

I just went to Fashion Bug this weekend (haven't been there is FOREVER) and got some really cute pants for work- $25 each! Woo Hoo!!!! I desperately needed some new work clothes. They didn't really have any shirts that I liked but they definitely had pants. I got 5 pair and I'm gonna go back this coming weekend and get a couple more. And they pretty much had every size from 2 petite to 24 long.

I get ALOT of great deals in the outlet at jjill.com. Sign up for the emails and you can get notice of 25% outlet items, Then I CALL the store to place my order to get free shipping.

My favorites are Lands end and Talbots for timeless, well made items. I shop at Macys and Bloomingdales for funky, latest fashion pieces. I find that I do just as well at these stores especially Macy's because they have great sales.

I'm not a big fan of Kohls, target or Walmart simply because I find the stuff poorly made. Every thing I've purchased from Kohls has shrunk or faded within 2 washings.

I love Ann Taylor loft but unfortunately I'm on the tall side and their pants are always a bit too short for me but they have very pretty tops and skirts.

Fashion bug stuff doesn't seem to hold up for me.

I like J. Jill and AT Loft. I buy some things at JCP and Khols, but usually just "trend" pieces that I don't count on lasting for more than a year.
The Land's End stuff at Sears is very good quality, too, and sometimes I'll get something at GAP or Eddie Bauer.

Congratulations on the weight loss :cheer2:

My clothes are from various stores. I shop, bloomingdale's Mostly my slacks come from bloomies I don't know why but I always find the best fitting pants, nordstroms alot of tops and sweaters, saks for evening gowns or any formal wear but I also shop of saks 5th, filenes basement anything that I love for a deal ditto for the following, tjmaxx, marshalls, tommy hillfinger for jeans and capris, ann taylor linens and fitted shirts, lilly pulitzer summer dresses, and old navy ok so I always and I mean always stain my tshirts with something I don't know why and there cheap here lol.
