First off DH wants everyone to know this is me, Jessica, he has taken over my name! :teeth: I know it may sound like a weird question but I need to find some comfy shoes beside my tennis shoes. I want something black that can be somewhat dressy or casual. I have black pants and a my corduroy blazer that I want to wear to MVMCP but the only shoes I have to wear with it right now I just can't wear to the parks all day. I just can't see wearing my white Nikes with it, LOL. Any suggestions? TIA

I just bought these Bass shoes for our upcoming trip and they're quite comfy.

I usually wear sneakers during the morning, but in the evening if we are heading to a nice dinner say in Epcot I usually wear heels! :)

Tevas! Best advice I received from dis :goodvibes .
I've had them the last 2 trips and my feet never hurt!

Rockports are good. If you are out for a few hours, wear your normal heels but longer than that, they will kill your feet.

I got sucked into the phenomenon and ended up with $70 worth of rubber that isn't the least bit comfy!

Just because they aren't or weren't comfy for you doesn't mean they aren't for many many others. I am on my feet more than I am not during the day and crocs are all I wear anymore.

They were wonderful at WDW in June and I counted 68 other pairs during our trip.

The only tried-and-true shoe I've worn are the Crocs.
8 day trip last June-Merrils gave me blisters, Aerosoles gave me a big hot spot that tuned into a nasty blister, put Crocs on second full day and not only did they not bother by pre-existing blisters, but did not sweat or create any other problems. My feel lasted all day...dried quickly during downpours and after water rides. DH wore his too and never went back to his tennis shoes.

They really work for us!

Do you usually wear socks with your crocs? If so, do you have a certain kind you prefer?

I must say that this is not the case for everyone. I work full time as a labor and delivery nurse- and myself, along with 60+ of my coworkers swear by them. They generally cost about $30-$50, are EXTREMELY lightweight, durable, and COMFORTABLE. I've been wearing them every day at work now for about a year- both with and without socks, and have yet to have had my feet hurt. Just got a real cute light pink pair for my upcoming trip in march- I've never really thought to wear them in wdw until I saw quite a few people wearing them down there this november. We'll see how it goes!

Another Crocs fan here. I wore them in October with no socks (the Beach model with the air holes), and I'm planning on buying a pair of the Aspens (no air holes) for my January trip.

I think if you got black Crocs, they would fit your requirement - casual during the day, but not too bad in the evening. I agree they're not the most attractive shoes in the world, but the kind without holes don't look too different from other clogs, and your feet will be so happy you really won't care anyway!

I just bought some cute 1/2 boots by naturalizer they have a low heel and square toe. Ithink they were about $60 on sale and I wore them on BF shopping for about 12 hrs and my feet didn't hurt til the end---

I loved Rockports, have worn them forever. But the Crocs sound interesting, a little more lightweight. Where can you get them?

I wear Crocs all the time now. I'll be wearing them to WDW in eleven more days and hopefully they'll keep my feet happy there as well. :sunny:

My 2 faves for Disney are Crocs (I wore them with socks, and ended up w/a small blister- next day wore them w/out socks and was fine) and Clark's athletic sandals. The Clark's edged out the Crocs, except in the rain- the suede footbed got wet and uncomfortable. So my recommendation would be:

Sunny/clear weather- Clark's
Rain- Crocs

Dillards and Dicks Sporting Goods carry them, as well as lots of other places. Online, you can order them from crocs.com, taylorshoes.com, and lots of other places, too :)
