Hi ladies! In past years when I've toured disney I've worn either my birkenstocks or last year my crocs which I did really like. However I am a complete flip flop addict and would love to pick up a pair for this years trip.

Right now I wear a pair of northface flip flops around town but I'm not sure if they would hold up to a week's worth of touring. I was thinking of the croc flip flops but I don't know anything about them.

Any ideas? We are going in August and I'm trying to pick this stuff up here and there so that it is not such a big shopping list before we go!:goodvibes

I'll copy what I just posted on the other thread... :)

I actually wore a regular pair of (under) $10 Target flip flops starting on our August trip last year, and much to my surprise, I LOVED them! I thought people were nuts wearing unsupportive flip flops for walking that much....but it turned out to be wonderful for me.

These are the ones I have:

I have them in a few different colors. :)

I just bought a pair of Birkenstocks to wear there. They seem VERY comfortable I hope they dont hurt my feet

I own a pair of Croc flip flops and i love them! they are very compfy and not too ugly! LOL

I always wear flip flops because I cannot stand the idea of too much on my feet in the heat. Besides I actually get more blisters from closed toe shoes!

I have Nike brand just regular flip flops. They were great last year as they have a cloth "thong" part so it doesn't rub on your toes inbetween. They were even good in the water and puddles after the rain storms. Not too slippery.
I did break them in all summer though.

Unless it's freezing down there, all I ever wear at WDW are flip flops. I love, love, love my Teva Mush and my Montrail Molokini's:cloud9: . They are the most comfortable shoes I own. Reefs are also pretty good down there. The only flip flops that have ever given me any problems are the Teva's and Reefs with the very narrow ribbon between the toes. I prefer the nice soft wide ribbon for a toe post. Crocs are comfortable also, but to tell you the truth even though in the clog styles I prefer the real name brand Crocs, in the flip flop style the off brand Croc flip flops at Payless are more comfortable than the real Crocs, because they have more padding on the footbed. I also have some Nike and Haviana flip flops that are pretty comfortable down there, but they don't compare to my Teva Mush and Montrail Molokini's.

DH calls me the flip flop Queen :) For our September trip I work my Reef's and Teva Mush almost exclusively. The mushy bottoms form to my feet and keep them comfy. They also dry fast! The cloth v strap does not rub or cause blisters. The Old Navy flip flops I tried hurt my feet within a few hours and started a blister from the plastic V strap. I went straight to the hotel and changed them!

I also have some Nike mushy type flip flops made with a neoprene (sp?) v strap. Very nice too but I'm partial to my Reefs and Teva Mush!

I pretty much go straight from boots in the winter to flip flops as soon as it's warm enough.

I also like the Teva Mush, or really any ones that have a little thicker bottom. I wear the Old Navy ones at home, but they're too thin to wear at WDW - my lower back and legs get a bit too sore.

Another one who loves her some flip-flops. A trip to Disney isn't complete unless my toes are free to move and breath in some flip-flops. With that said since I have a size 11 foot I find it rather difficult to get stylish flops and not have to spend a fortune, so I usually get regular ones from Old Navy. I love 'em cuz they come in lots of different colors and prints so I'm always able to match 'em up with different outfits and since they're way affordable I can get several pair a year.

T.

I am a flip flopper as well. I can't stand to have my feet crammed in shoes when it is warm! I have Croc flip flops and Reef flip flops that I alternate at WDW. They work out great for me!

I love my Roxy Pismo flippies! They have black and brown and I actually bought them in MK after I forgot to pack my flip flops! They have a soft comfy sole and all fabric - no plastic. I love the clothe between my toes and they caused no blisters at all!

I bought these cheap but cute pair 10.00 from gap. I loved them. I would rather were those than sneakers. They were so much more comfy and my feet were nice in cool. Just don't forget to put sunblock on your feet.;)

Last year, I wore a pair from Gap. They were super comfy. They were the kind that criss-crossed over your big toe.

I recently got a pair of Teva Mush and I love them! They are the most comfortable flip flop! I also will be bringing my crocs (have several styles).
I picked up a couple pairs of the cheap Old Navy flips because so many were raving about them. OMG don't do it! lol I wore them out shopping one day and my feet hurt so bad. They rubbed between my toes, the straps rubbed the top of my foot, they were awful!

I was not a flip-flopper at Disney until Teva Mush- they are incredilbly comfortable. I never had blisters or sore feet like when I wear my running shoes.
sierratradingpost dot com has great prices on them.:thumbsup2

I wear flip flops from american eagle....they are like $20 a pair but my pair surviced san francisco, disneyland, los angeles, and disneyworld within a 3 month period last year...and i still have them!!!!...i think they are really comfortable and my feet lasted 6 days in disney with them

I live in flipflops but don't really like to wear thick ones but I want I do want them to be soft and a little cushy. The ones that I use to buy at walmart they don't sell anymore and I really haven't found any that I like. My next favorite brand is the sugar floaties but they can be slippery when wet.

I have a pair of these but they are a little thick to be wearing around disney.

These are thinner I haven't ordered a pair yet but I have an older pair that were thin like these and they were/are great.

I have these and love exact ones and I love them.

I own a pair of Croc flip flops and i love them! they are very compfy and not too ugly! LOL

I was also going to recommend these.

Are the croc flip flops good to walk around in if you have feet problems. I have bone spurs in both heels and usually wear gel inserts in my sneakers. They aren't allowed on the plane so i need something to wear when I go in Oct until my luggage gets to the room.

I don't know for sure but I do know that when I went in Feb my heel was hurting severally from the cold weather the night we drove down well the rubber bottom on one of my tennis shoes fell off so I needed something to wear for the rest of the week. I was going to get a pair of the crocs but the smallest adult size was too big and the largest childs size was too small so I was just going to wear my flipflops well my foot was hurting so bad when I walked into the store in DHS to see if they had crocs they had the mary janes and once I put them on I swear I didn't even know my foot hurt anymore.
