Ladies...something trivial but do you have a great wallet?

With all the things going on with my dad lately, I need something trivial to keep my mind occupied. Wallets are so personal and I can't seem to find "the" one. Anywhere. Do you have a great wallet and if so, where did you get it?

I like mine. I needed to find a wallet that had a checkbook part that could hold side loading checks. DH & I ordered Simpsons checks and they fit in sideways instead of up and down...what a pain!

I found my wallet at Kohl's. It's black, and holds enough for me. But my real reason for the purchase was the ackward checks.

I use an 18 year-old Gucci wallet that I got in Italy! It still looks like new, and I got it for like 1/10th the price I would've paid for it here. Can a wallet be sentimental--if it can be, mine is.

I have a great wallet made by Buxton. It is brown leather and perfect for my needs. However, it is getting old and worn and I would love a new one just like it, the problem is I can't find one this size. All of the newer wallets I have seen lately are just too big for me.

I have an awesome wallet... It is one of the long wallets, solid black and it has a big mickey head cut out on the front. I get compliments on it constantly. Got it from POR a couple years ago.

Yes, I bought a new Coach one a couple of months ago. I really like it!! It's not to big so I can't overload it with "crap". *LOL* I have the matching Coach backpack purse. LOVE IT!!

I love my wallet, and it was cheap too! Got it at K-mart about 3 years ago - it holds all my junk - and that's saying something.

DH got a wallet for me for my birthday last year from Brighton that I LOVE. It's a good sized one that even came with a strap because it can be carried as a small purse as well. It's got so many little pockets, and compartments so it holds EVERYTHING. I was just thinking today how much I like it.

I love Vera Bradley wallets. The best thing about them is they come out with new patterns all the time but the wallet is exactly the same! And I can carry it as a small handbag.

It's black with a zipper on one section, and the outer section has a snap that opens to a date, address. note book. It is about 4x6 inches and has a neat outline of Mickey on the front. It was the only one they had and on sale for $9.99! I also use the Mickey messenger bag I bought last year from the catalog. Very discreet, with Mickey head zipper pulls, and the MM patterned fabric. Lots of pockets and organizing areas in that.

I love my wallet. It's a nine west cheapie, leopard print fabric. It's not heavy at all, it's perfect for what I carry.

Another vote for Vera Bradley!!!!! Created just an hour away!! I have 2 in Maison Blue, the pocket wallet and the zippered wallet. In Maison Blue I also have a cosmetic bag, coin purse, the Betsy and the petite Villager. Then I have 2 older wallets with straps and other bags in different patterns. They are so pretty and last much longer than I would have thought they would. Since I do not spend my change I use the coin purse for gift cards and gift certificates so they don't clutter up my regular wallet. The pocket wallet is great for those times when you need money and ID but don't want to carry anything. I do also have a black Mickey pocket wallet that I used before I got the new one at Christmas.

I have a very nice Dooney & Bourke leather wallet that I paid around $20 for that was normally $65 (I bought in online through the D&B site.)

It's an all in one, except it doesn't have the checkbook feature, I like to keep my wallet and checkbook apart. It has a rather large section for credit cards, a coin thingy and places for photos (that I removed.)

I have found some that I kinda like but I want one with an "ID window" - for some reason, I don't know what it is but I just have it stuck in my head that I want an ID window. Keep the suggestions coming - I know I will find one somewhere!

The Vera Bradley wallet has 2 "window" slots in it. I have a famil pic in one of them and all those darn store discount cards in the other.

But about four years ago I needed a wallet for our trip to WDW. I did not want to take all my cc and other discount cards, etc. So when I was in our local Dollar Store they had these leather men's wallets. It has two slots for cash, one for US, the other Cdn. It also has two ID Windows but what is great, it folds over so that you cannot see what is there. So when you unfold the wallet you see slots for cards and just plain black leather on the other side! It hides the important stuff. To this day I still use it!

Fossil makes great, long lasting wallets. I carried my last one for about 6 years, and it's still in good shape. It had an ID window on the outside, it was very handy. You can usually find fossil stuff at Macy's, and they're usually not too expensive (like $25-40)

For my birthday last year, DH got me a kate spade wallet, and I LOVE it! It's stiff leather, so it holds its shape, it carries a ton of stuff and it also has an id window, but on the inside. It's in the katy leather collection

I have a Kate Spade Wallet as well. I love it! I used to go through wallets and purses like crazy until I got my Kate Spade!
