Hip huggers for me. They give me the coverage I need, but dont hang out the back of my pants and bunch up. I will wear thongs on certain occassions if the evening calls for it. And I do have a few of the boy shorts. But the boy shorts always leaving me feeling like my bottom half is hanging out and un covered. I need the coverage!!!

Well since I 'inspired' this poll I feel I must vote I tried the boyshorts and it made me crazy. I tried the thongs and that made me insane, I couldn't strip those off fast enough. So it's briefs for me, much to my hubby's disappointment.

OKAY EVERYONE..OP HERE..the BRIEFS are now winning...it is 1AM and I am reporting that despite all the positive feedback on THONGS and BOYSHORTS...the BRIEFS are now out in FRONT....!!!!!!!!

I tried the hip hugger style and just didn't like it.

I wear a thong or g-string almost every day. I'll wear regular underwear if I'm going to the doctor or something like that.

I voted for briefs! They have to come up over my belly button, and they have to be shiny/silky material BUT with a cotton crotch!! I prefer light colors so they don't "show through" light colored slacks too.

I have a very close girlfriend(50yo) that is so exactly like this...her daughters(20's) said.."mom, we are taking you to VS to get some bikini's etc"..DGF went with her DD's and bought one pair...wore them...hated them...and she is so back to her briefs in silky light colors!!!

I voted bikini, but I wear low rise bikinis from VS.
All my jeans are low rise(just slightly, nothing too low, I AM 34 and have had 2 kids after all ) and regular undies would peek out the back. So low rise it is.

I do wear thongs infrequently if it's needed.
Plus my kids see me in my underwear all the time and I would not want them to see me in a thong. ew!

I only wear low rise string thongs. Here is a tip for those who have tried thongs and didn't like them - try the really thin string thongs. The one's with just a string on the hips connecting to a string in the back. If you can wear them for a couple of days (putting a fresh pair on daily ) I swear you will not go back to anything else . What an interesting and entertaining thread
