Ladies, need mascara recommendation!

Thank you so much for the Lancome tip. I was needing a new tube of L'Extreme, but had not purchased yet. I bought that and eyeshadow for $41, and got 9 samples!! :)

:cool1:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I only buy Lancome through their website. They always have free gifts, good ones too! Can't beat that!:thumbsup2

I love Bare Escentual's Flawless Definition Mascara, and of course, CG Lash Blast! I shop at Sephora a lot so I always get free samples of items or certain gifts given to their subscribers, so I've got a collection of mascaras falling out of all my bathroom drawers! :rotfl:

Korres is also a good brand.

I just bought the LOreal Double Extend the other week. It works great!

I also like the Maybelline Define a Lash (the green tube, NOT the new Volumizing one).

Cover Girl Lash Blast (orange tube)!

I'm ususally a department store/Sephora make-up snob, but I love this mascara - long lasting, adds body and volume, and doesn't flake. I highly recommend! :thumbsup2

agree 100%

I was using Lash Blast and really liking it until I tried the TooFaced when it was recommended here. It is the best mascara I've ever used. No smudging, goes on easily, adds volume and length - it's the best!

I have tried SO many mascaras, expensive and cheap. I wanted one that didn't smudge or clump. That defined and separated and extended my lashes. Below are my top 3 favorites:

Loreal's Double Extend mascara

Imju Fiberwig mascara

TooFaced Lash Injection (I prefer the fine brush)

Blinc Kiss My Face Mascara. It costs a little more, but oh so worth it. I've slept in it and never have the raccoon look. It too is a "tube" mascara. Very easy to remove.

Someone here on the dis recommended it to me I don't remember who, but here's a much belated THANK YOU!!:flower3:

Blinc Kiss Me mascara - have used it for years. Every so often, I will try something else, but always return to Blinc.

I used to use the Blinc, but I switched to the Loreal Double Extend. It is basically the same product and half the price. :goodvibes

Another vote for Too Faced Lash Injection. My co-workers keep asking me what I did to get my lashes so long!

Blinc Kiss My Face Mascara.

It is Blinc Kiss Me mascara not Blinc Kiss My Face. Not a huge error, but I refuse to buy Kiss My Face products.

Kiss My Face used brokers to sell their products - some of whom really helped them get their products off the ground when it was the two kiss boys making olive soap in the '80s.

A few years ago Kiss decided to not to use brokers anymore, but to go to inhouse sales. Totally their perogative and not a bad business move. But the way the notified their brokers who were like family was to send them a FAX ON CHRISTMAS EVE stating that their services were dropped immediately and they would not be paid any commissions after that date! Pretty low in my opinion.

I knew the two guys who started it. I've been to their home and had dinner with them. They were at my brother's wedding. I really like them, but their products are just so-so anyway. I used to have cases of samples.

I loooooooooooove Too Faced Lash Injection, though I find that the tube dries out quickly. Covergirl Lash Blast has been recommended to me over and over again by makeup gurus so I am giving it a shot. It works great, doesn't smudge, but I think I prefer Lash Injection. Course one is $5 and one is $20 so that has to be weighed, too ;)

I used the Lash Injection too, as it was recommended here. It lasted longer than others, but it eventually racooned on me. :( I only used it a couple times, (with a long time in between uses,) & I also thought the tube dried out really quickly.

Hmm, I wonder if I can still return it to Sephora. A mascara should last longer than two times, no matter how long in between.

Take it back and get a new tube. A lot of people were reporting having had a bad batch.

And I can tell you right now, that Lash Injection WILL NOT raccoon. No way, no how. I can barely get it off with eye makeup remover - AND use it at water parks!

You must have had a bad batch. Get a new tube, and report back! :thumbsup2

I use Maybelline Stilletto (is that how you spell it)... I love it... people ask me if I have fake lashes on.

It's my favorite too. My eyes are my favorite feature, and I love how the Stiletto makes them look after I get done putting on my eyeshadow and liner. Even my boss complimented my eyes when I switched, and he's usually oblivious. He said he could tell I did something different with my eye makeup and he liked how it looked. (I told him he needed to make sure he gave his wife 10 compliments that night since he gave another woman a compliment that day.)

My two favorite brands are Lancome Definicils and Bare Escentuals, in that order. Lancome.com is currently having free shipping on all purchases, plus you can also use coupon codes to get free gifts.:thumbsup2

My favorite eyeliner is Quickliner fromClinique. It goes on smooth and stays on. :thumbsup2

Thank you so much, Rita Z! :) I just got my Lancome order and the samples rock. Two 4/color eyeshadow packs and both are my colors. two glosses, two mascara samples to go with the one i bought, lipstick, moisturizer, remover. :thumbsup2
