Ladies, is LuLaRoe popular in your area/with your friends?

It seems everyone I know has caught the LuLaRoe bug. At first I resisted but then my MIL sent me a pair of leggings and I didn't ever want to take them off. :rolleyes1

I am curious though - is LLR taking off in your area or with your friends? No real reason I'm asking, just curious to see how trends form, especially on clothing that's acquired in an unconventional way. I know some people HATE their clothes (honestly, some patterns are atrocious) while others haven't even heard of it.

Yes - especially with Facebook groups. I just bought my first pair of leggings and am waiting for them to arrive! People have been raving about them so I wanted to see what the fuss is about. I finally found a plain black pair for sale so that's what I got. I personally don't think I would wear their designs, but some people can definitely pull it off.

Edited to add: I'm in the Atlanta metro area.

I don't know about my area, but lots of people I know (not from this area) have hosted pop up shops. It's fun, and I love my LLR leggings. Not so much on their other things, as I'm short and find their items far too long for me.

Yes, someone at work sells it so it's quite popular in my office! I don't have any yet, but have considered a few dresses.

Looks nice, they have a nice line for the plus size ladies. You don't see much of that.

I was skeptical until I got a pair of the leggings. Sooooo soft. I was firmly in the "leggings are not pants" camp until I got my first pair of LLR :rolleyes1

It is popular here (Central Ohio). My sister loves it and there are many "pop ups" (that appears to be what they call their selling parties) and "facebook sales" in my area.

I haven't bought any. I went to a local "pop up" with my sister last spring. I saw a few cute things, but nothing I could put together to make an outfit. Apparently the consultants don't get to choose the patterns in their inventory. They get what they get, and this consultant didn't seem to have tops that coordinated well with the leggings she had in stock. I don't have a lot of legging-friendly clothes in my closet to pull from so I was hoping to find a top and leggings that would work together.

In addition, the consultant kept making size suggestions. "You'll want to size down by one size in this style, and you'll want to size up by 2 sizes in that style." (particularly the shirts/dresses/skirts, not the leggings). It all ended up being very overwhelming and I left with nothing. I don't know HOW you would order from a web page unless you already knew what size you'd need. I like some of the stuff my sister has, though.

It's popular in my area. I have 3 pairs of the leggings

Only know of them because their consultants keep popping up on Periscope. But no, not popular in my area.

I found a dress at our local consignment and got it for DD17, never having heard of it at the time. I liked it because it had more substantial thickness and coverage than most juniors dresses in stores, but a cute tribal pattern that she likes. I googled the brand, thinking this could be a new one to search for, but didn't see much else I liked. Other than that, I've only seen DD17's boss talk about their leggings on FB.

I have no idea if they are popular in my area. My friends know better than to try to con me into buying their MLM junk.

Lularoe is no better than Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Rodan & Fields, Beachbody, Amway, or any other multi level marketing, make full time pay for part time hours, pay to play, company.
