Ladies - how often do you wash your....

I usually wear each bra twice unless I've been gardening or working out. What amazes me more than anything is the folks that have only one bra. Maybe I'm the freak here, but I have at least 15 bras. I love shopping for under garments - I have probably close to 40 pair of panties. Anyone else out there that has an undie collection??

You're not alone. I belong to the Addicted to Undergarments club as well. I have probably 40-50 pair of panties and about 15-20 bras. I only buy bras from Victoria's Secret so I have a lot so that they can last a long time ($40 a pop is a pretty penny) but I just can't help it...when some people are down, they eat ice cream...when I'm down, I shop at Victoria's Secret.

No freak. I have at least 20 good bras. I find ones I like and buy them up. I have a huge dresser drawer full of nothing but undies too.

When I bought 2 bras a couple of weeks ago, I spent $120 . I can't afford to have a broad collection! LOL.

Mine are all around $45 to $50 each. They hold up well. No pun intended!

After each use... but I will admit.. I dont not have any "pretty" ones right now. After having 2 babies back to back they needed some serious boulder holders.

I go to Kohl's and buy the ones on sale, but I want to try the ones from VS and see if my pretties are any perkier in those. Or see if my DH notices... I've never even walked into a VS store, but my DD promised me that she would bring me when she's home next time.

I have 3 bras so I wash them after every 2 wears. Most days I don't leave the house, except to take the kids to school and drop them off so really not doing much to get them 'dirty'. I like VS brands though, so that is probably why I only have a few, too pricey. I have to wear the TBack ones, and they are usually the ones that aren't on sale

The undies are washed everyday though LOL

I'm probably a once a week gal - but I stay @ home all day & only wear them the few hours I may go out for dinner or to the store....

NOw if it's a day when I'm wearing it all day & sweat then I'll certainly wash them then - or change it....but only then...

I wash mine about every 3 days unless I've been sweating....but what I'm really shocked to find out is that people toss their bras in the washer! You must all be rich! I hand wash mine & they do last quite a while. If I were to put mine in the wash (even gentle cycle), I'm sure after 2 months I'd need a new one!

I actually have no idea, lol. I'm lazy and wind up tossing them on the floor when I'm done. Next morning I sometimes grab the one off of the floor or grab a new one. I never really think about it. I do wash every week though, and usually have 3-4 bras in the wash, so 1-3 days per bra.

They wear out too fast, that is my complaint.

I have to shop in the specialty stores because I'm too ****ilicious to go anywhere else. They don't carry my size in a regular store.

ETA: Wow, who'd have thought THAT word wasn't allowed? Let's just say I'm busty...

Have your tried Lane Bryant, I know they have some BIG cups. And they have really pretty ones. Of course the prettiest ones are underwire and I can't wear those.

I am a 2-3 wears person too. They get washed and hung up to dry.

I guess I'm pretty much alone in that I wash mine every week. Eep. I only have two bras so don't flame me too much. I do laundry for only ME so it's not like I do laundry enough to wash them all the time. I do laundry probably every two weeks. Hey, at least I change my underoos everyday.

Don't worry, I know lots of once a weekers, and they don't stink!!

I think it is better than wearing them out!

After each use they get washed...toss them in the washer and dryer and they don't wear out all that fast, I have had them last years even in the dryer..no way am I handwashing anything!

I'm a 3-5 wearings girl in the winter, more like 1-2 in the summer (I live in Florida, and I do get sweatier in the summer).

I've always put them in the washer and dryer, I generally buy cheap ones from Target or WalMart, and they last me a long time, probably 2 - 3 years. I'm really curious about what happens for those of you who say your washer eats your bras. Do they come out in pieces? Do they lose the stretch in the elastic? Do they disappear entirely?

If it's only been on for a hour, it gets washed. I do not wash them in the washer though.
