Ladies - How much do u pay for a haircut

I go every 6 weeks for a cut & color. $95-$110 plus tip. I think just the cut portion is around $40.

I live in Southern NH.

$13.00 @ Great Clips. I give my stylist a $5.00 tip as well (she is the only one my entire family uses... amazing and talented)!

where are u from and how often do u get a cut?

I'm just curious...

I'm from Staten Island, NY - alot of orientals cut hair here for much cheaper and i've been going to them for years - only paying about 25.00 for a cut/blow out! I was getting in a rut so went to a more upscale salon - different stylists charge different prices. I went yesterday - it cost $50.00 plus tax and tip!!! I do like the haircut....i don't go that often for a haircut - maybe 4x a year!

Hi Lisa. I am also from SI.

Short story - the girl who used to cut my hair for years - about 20 years - moved Upstate about 5 years ago give or take. She first worked in the mall where I met her and then went on to JC Penny. I thought she was getting high also but she had a higher "master" title or whatever. When she left, I was paying about $35. I miss her so much, she gave me the best hair cut and knew what I wanted.

Okay - I go once a month (Classique) and I have very short hair. I pay $53 and change w/tax. Plus I tip the "owner" and the girl who washes my hair. So total $65 a month which I think is a bit high. I do like the way he cuts it and I love the way he blows it (and teases it) when I have a party. I think it's a bit high for a once a month haircut.

I have tried here and there getting a trim elsewhere in between but I have yet to find someone else who has cut it close to him or my old girl Jessica.

Where do you go?

(from the posts here - maybe it's not too high???)

My first thought when I first moved here (FL) from NY was Oh no ! I'm giving up my stylist I went to for years :scared: Since I live pretty rural it took about a yr of hit & miss and I was afraid of chain franchises Bit the bullet used a coupon for Fantastic Sams and only let one person there cut/style (with tip $5
total $15 ) about every 6 weeks short hair

Big downside is you can't make an appt and the line starts forming at 8 am for 9 am opening

I work in Boston and get my hair cut in Harvard Square - its $65 plus tip. She cuts my hair so that my silver "highlights" look intentional. As my hair gets thinner my hair gets shorter so I have to go more often - about once every 8 weeks

Another Boston gal here and I pay $55, I also have to go every 8 weeks. I'm Asian but I can't get my hair cut in Chinatown as everybody that walks out has the SAME cut...lol:rotfl2:

Free. I do it myself. If you have longer hair, wavy to curly, it is easy as pie to clean up the split ends. Maybe yearly for a reshaping? Then it is around $20, not counting tip. I live in the Midwest.

Just yesterday I paid $27 for a dry cut with a $5 tip.
Would have been $37 w/shampoo and a blow dry:sad2:
