Ladies- how many purses do you bring to Disney?

I read the OP's question differently. I took it to mean How many purses do you take with you total on your entire vacation. Not just in the parks.

Before I begin, I'll just say that I do consider cross body bags big and small to be in the purse category.

I take my regular travel purse for the plane. I have occasionally worn it into the parks. It is a cross body bag that is made of that travel bag material stuff. (I hope you all know what I mean! Wish I could describe it better!)

I also take a cute little purse for our nice dinners.

Then I might have another smaller cross body bag for inside the parks, but I don't take it every day. If I can get my ID and park ticket in my pocket, then that's all I take! DH usually carries the camera bag.

So I guess my answer to the question would be 3!

:scared1: ONE PURSE LOL Just kidding.

I loveeeeeeeeeee purses. Funny thing..I just went through my purses recently and couldn't believe how many spring/summer purses I actually have.. :rotfl2: Matter of fact...I decided to take back one I just bought and had not used yet..... when I realized how many I have and had not used in a while. I am not obsessed with shoes at all..but purses OH YEAH BABY!!!

I'm not the norm, I guess. I also don't care about shoes. Lol! I'm not really a clothes person at all. I rarely wear anything but shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. I should have been born a man! :rotfl:

Fine. I will be the odd one out! I used to take 3 coach bags with me on vacation-a black, a brown and a fun/bright one. I would switch out depending on what I was wearing.

Then my grandma got me a baggalini, so that became my park bag and I brought a brown and a black purse with me for going out in the evening, or the different stops on our roadtrips.(we stop in savannah ususally)

Now I live here, so one purse comes to the car with me and I take the baggalini in the park because it was a gift from my grandma so I can't not use it.

Ha! We will both be ODD then! I plan on bringing my Vera Bradley holster, an UnderArmour slingback and my coach cross body khaki purse. I feel like I need to match my purses! And neither are too big to cause discomfort to me!

I carry one on the plane... which stays in the room all trip...

Once there I only carry my "park purse". Spacious, canvas, lots of pockets, big enough to hold camera. I also bring a backpack, with supplies for the 5yr old.

Purses are all about being practical for me, don't need anything fancy at wdw, just need to carry lots of extra stuff.

:wizard: I've changed my bag preferences over the years....I went from a big tote bag when I had a lot of stuff to carry to a smaller shoulder bag and then to a fanny pack (for which I was mercilessly teased by my children). Two years ago I switched to a small hipster type (Kipling Pract Multi-Pocket Neck Pouch) and that's even getting annoying. So this year for my August trip I got a Vera Bradley Zip ID case and a matching lanyard. I plan to just carry my KTTW card and some cash into to the parks so I don't have to go through the bag check lines. On the plane I still take a big tote bag that can double as my pool bag. The only thing I haven't figured out is what to do with my safe key......

None..doesn't really work for me in the parks..I use a small backpack

I take two, a bigger one that I use as my personal item on the plane, and then on the day I leave I usually take that one to the park as well, after I check my luggae. Then I have a smaller one I use when I go out for dinner, or Downtown Disney, rarely do I use it in the parks though.

I only use my Vera Bradley mini-hipster. I used to simply put my park ticket in my pocket and go.

I only own one purse at a time. When it dies, I buy another. I'm not a purse person.

Me too. I would rather spend more money on vacations then "stuff" like handbags. I have couple that I switched with the seasons and that's it.

I only take a Bagalini with me to WDW. :rotfl:

I bring one but try not to use it if I can put what I need in the stroller or DH's pockets! I hate the weight of it on my shoulder while I'm walking all day, and just having to deal with it getting in my way.

I work at a Vera Bradley store, so it's nice to see that other people like her stuff, too - it's just so sensibly designed! Because I work there, though, it's easy to get carried away with that employee discount, haha!

I currently have a smaller drawstring backpack (the older style, remember?) from her that is strictly my park bag, it fits my sunglass case, sunblock, poncho, phone, snacks, water bottles, etc. This year I'm adding to it a lanyard and zip id case to carry just my kttw, cash, FPs, etc, because in the past I've lugged around my whole huge kate spade wallet (can you say nightmare?!) and it was just too much. I'm actually getting the new canvas drawstring backpack with laminate lining that's a bit bigger, too, but that's more for my fall/winter trips when I know I'll need a jacket to take on and off during the day.

On a trip, total, I bring my regular kate spade purse that I travel with, my park drawstring backpack, a bigger bag for the pool, and a small purse/wristlet to carry at night to dining, going out with DBF, etc, so 4 total!

Either DH has a backpack or my Vera mini-hipster. I may sub my Tokyo Disney purse though. It's a cross body bag and small. I'd prefer just wearing cargo pockets-much easier!

I bring two...a coach handbag for whatever season it is and my coach swing pack for the parks.

No purses but I do carry a small backpack.

Although I may not arrive with any purses, I sure do leave with a few. In March I purchased 3 D&B.

One. I use a simple nylon drawstring backpack in the parks (I got it at RenFest...it says "booty" on it!), but I bring a small purse for my travel days (we drive) and for stuff like Downtown Disney.

I have a tiny obsession, okay, a huge obsession with purses, just curious as to how many purses and what kind of purses you bring with you to go to Disney?

Thanks!

When I read this, I had to chuckle, but then reading all of the responses, I had to LOL....but it's just for lack of understanding I guess....definitely NOT to be insulting to you. Maybe if you explained why you would bring more than one purse / handbag, we could relate. At this point, it's hard to relate when you consider that almost all vanity goes out the window at WDW when you consider your main purpose there and the heat. Most people would rather lug a bottle of water or a misting fan than a purse.
