Ladies! Guess what I saw today?

While in the toy department at KMart today, I saw none other than the original Mailbu Barbie complete with big round "mod" sunglasses sewn to her head and a 1971 collector's box.

Also, the orginal Dawn doll with "groovy" locker.

I can't believe they are bringing these toys back, it sure brought back a lot of memories though....

Malibo Barbie was my favorite. I had her forever until my mom gave her away.

I was married and out of the country at the time.

Cool, I cut all the hair off of my barbies one day, now I wish I hadn't done that! Who knows what I was thinking!

I still have my Dawn dolls! and Barbies too. Did anyone see the show on HGTV last night about the toys we grew up with? It was nice to see and remember all of the old stuff.

Those sure bring back memories! I remember having the Dawn doll with a stage for her to put shows on. I also had the Malibu Barbie with her groovy camper. Toys just aren't as fun as they were back then.

I loved the Malibu Barbie...I saw those...and my Dsister gave me the Dawn doll for my Birthday!...I have so many Barbies I need a room just for them! LOL

(personally I like the "retro" toys...carebears, etc...They had some really great stuff back then.

OMG! Malibu Barbie is BACK???!!!! LOVED her! (and I always pretended "Dawn" was her younger sister). I had all that wonderful Barbie stuff as a kid (which is long gone and ruined any way).

I watched that special on HGTV last night. So many toys! And I remember most!
