Ladies, do you wear makeup in the parks?????

No way.

And I'm so grateful being married to a man who appreciates a woman's inner and natural beauty rather than a face with all the trappings. That's not to say I don't wear makeup once in a while to make myself feel nice, but I can't imagine feeling so insecure with myself that I need to wear it just to leave the house.

Please note before you flame me good, I'm not saying that I think everyone who wears makeup feels insecure! I'm just saying that I would only wear it every day like that because I would be feeling insecure. I realize that others have different priorities than me and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Now, if only we could get that message through to the media...

Yes, I don't go outside of this house unless I have some eye makeup on! I don't have a problem with it sweating off. I use waterproof mascara, good eyeliner and shadow and it stays on well. I put concealer and powder blush and lips on too. But they don't fare as well through the summer days as the eye stuff. I still put it on, because it is a part of me, lol! In the winter, everything goes on!!

P.S. I also had on makeup while giving birth...twice! Hey, people were taking pics!?!?!?!

We live here, and it is so humid, so you sweat off most of your makeup if you are outside for very long. I just use a little concealer, and some packed powder base, and my sunglasses.

I always carry BareMinerals (foundation, mineral veil, eyeshadow, and blush), waterproof mascara, tinted moisturizer, sunscreen, and lip balm. I start off using the Bare Mnerals, but by the end of the week I am using just the sunscreen, tinted moisterizer, and waterproof mascara. Of course, several years ago I had permanent makeup tattooed on so always have eye liner (top and bottom) and lip liner and full color on lips, so I can not wear makeup and still look like I have a little on.

Nope, none at all. Not even mascara. 'Course I don't wear much at home either.

I wear make up every day for work, but when I'm at Disney...who has time?!!? The sooner I'm out of my room the sooner I can get out to the parks! It is nice not having to worry about it! I love not having to worry about removing it at the end of the day.

I always do. We go in cooler weather so I don't sweat it off. I only wear pressed powder, lip gloss or lip stick and mascara though. I don't feel complete without those 3 things.

I always wear makeup with sunscreen lotion underneath. I often get complimented about my complexion. I think that my skin needs protection from the elements. I also use Mac, and have never had problems with it smearing off with perspiration. Even with rain on my face, it doesn't turn into a mess (although it may come off in rain, it is not messy!).
I grew up with a Mom who always checked her lipstick before leaving the house in the foyer mirror. We ALWAYS wear makeup, it is our sign that we care about ourselves and our appearance. (Kind of silly, but that is the way it is in our family!).
It is your vacation, do what YOU want to do. If it takes you too much time, either re-evaluate your regimine, or forgo make up entirely! Feel good about yourself whichever you decide! :cheer2:

I do -- but a great pair of sunglasses and a tube of lipstick could be just as good if you really don't want to wear makeup (I read that movie stars do that to look good in public when they are slumming it a little.)

I agree that the Revlon color stay is great -- I've been using the lighter kind and it isn't as drying. It sure does stay!!!

I live in the UK and make up is so much cheaper in the US I get to by a whole new bag of cosmetics!. I would never be seen without it in public. Most of the stuff I buy at walmart and walgreens is waterproof and stays well all day. I could not be photod without my eyeliner and mascara! :earsgirl: I ike Loreal and Revlon and Estee Lauder brands. They stay put quite well! also if you need a touch up go to France in Epcot and get a Guerlain makeover :goodvibes It feel great to spruce up with perfume and powder in the perfumery shop. :flower:

YES! I won't leave the house (or hotel room) without eyeliner, foundation and powder on. I live in FL and know what works for me in the hot humid weather. We also try not to go to WDW when it's super hot anyway. Clean and Clear oil absorbing papers are a life saver in the summer.

For a day in the parks I just wear foundation with sunscreen, mascara, and gloss. If we are doing something a little more adult at night, like a fancy restaurant or a nightclub, then I'll add eyes, blush and lip color.

Unlike most people, I like dressing up at WDW. It's nice to feel you are doing something special and different. Plus my big booty tends to look better in dressier clothes than the casual wear worn at the parks - LOL!

Oil-free SPF 18 moisturizer for my face, and SPF 15 lip balm for my kisser. Also lots of regular SPF 30 for arms, legs, etc. Hair in braids or a bandana. If I'm going to PI or to a nice place for dinner, out with the full artillery!

I don't normally wear to much makeup, just some base, blush eye shadow and mascara. I usually wear it in the parks b/c I hate putting sunscreen on my face and the makeup has SPF in it.

Usually, I wear makeup to the parks - normal everyday makeup (for me). Never thought much about it. I usually do something simpler with my hair, ponytail or all back. But as far as getting ready goes, I don't treat it much differently than getting ready at home (except for more sunscreen!).

Did I write this??? :rotfl2:
I was wondering how to put it into words. Thanks for doing it for me! :goodvibes

I am required to wear make up for my job (flight attendant). Therefore, on my days off I hate wearing it. My normal day at home/kids school/etc. is mascara and lipstick. My skin care products have sunscreen in them, so that is a given. So, that is how you will see me at the parks, mascara and lipstick.

I love Clinique's Almost Makeup SPF 15. I also wear waterproof mascara and usually a lip gloss or a long-wear lipstick.

Just wear waterproof mascara, lipgloss and a light foundation with sunscreen, more if we are going to a nicer restaurant. Hey, I live for these trips, I take a million photos and every minute is special. I buy new clothes, too. :flower:
