Ladies, do you like wearing hats?

I have a few hats (all straw/raffia) which I wear mostly at the beach or if I'm going to be out in the sun for a long time. I don't like the baseball cap type hats, they don't look right with all my hair. The one thing that I found out when trying on hats is that I have a big head.

And sure a visor protects your face...unless your folliclally challenged I see no problem w/ a visor!

Uber = german word basically meaning mega. I think it's supposed to have those little dots over the U, but I'm not sure.

I love hats. I have dozens of them. Baseball caps, fancy hats, you name it. I have hats that I have no place to wear them! I most recently bought a hat that I'll stick Mickey ears onto, paint them white and then decorate with a bit of lace (and maybe pearls, and a few flowers) and that will be my "just married" hat to wear around the parks.

I was shopping with a friend a few weeks ago and came across a big hat - one of those posh things you'd expect to see on some rich woman at a racetrack years ago. Navy and white/sheer. Big wide brim. I picked it up and we looked at each other as if to say "yeah, right". Then I tried it on and she said "You know, that actually looks good on you. I didn't think anyone could pull off that hat".

So I guess I'm a hat person!

Not kidding. I had no idea. Must be a teenage thing.

I have been told that I look good in a baseball cap.

But I dont like the others. My mom wears hats all the time, she tries to get me into them, but I just dont like them.

The only hat I wear at home is my LA Dodgers baseball cap. But at WDW this past May, I wore it, a little cloth bucket style hat with contrasting ribbon trim, and a straw cowboy hat--but not simultaneously, of course. I got some compliments on the bucket & cowboy hats--but DH is not into hats so they didn't come from him. They were great to keep me cool, unburned, & slightly less freckled.
And the cowboy hat was very Frontierland.

Good Lord, I've been tagged again. I love me some Tag Fairy!!!!!:wave2: And to have a tag that immortalizes my love for Gary Sinise! Well, my cup just runneth over!!

Me, I look terrible in hats, but when in WDW I had to get a hat. You see I get heat induced migraines if I do not cover my head. No way was I going to ruin my vacation. After day one I broke down and bought a straw hat in adventureland in the store connected to POC with a jungle print scarve on the top and hanging down the back. My daughter actually liked it on me. Of course I could not remove it because of hat head. :p

I have a few visor type hats that I sometimes wear on my trips but that's it.......unless it's freezing out, then I put on my hood!!::yes::

I don't like wearing hats, but I wear them anyway in the summer if I'm outside a long time. I will get sunburned where I part my hair and it itches like crazy if I don't wear one.

But, I have a LOT of Disney ones, and just bought another one my last trip a few weeks ago.:o I wore it at Disney, due to the heat! I ONLY wear them when I do not want to wash my hair, and put it in a pony tail and stick it thru the "space" in back.::yes::

I love hats but I have a really big head. When my big head is combined with my extremely thick hair, hats are only a dream.

I have a couple of baseball caps but rarely wear them. I had a few other hats but I never wore them either so they were thrown out before my recent move.

I wear baseball hats. :)

3 weeks ago I threw a bridal shower for SIL. It was a garden tea party and on the invite we requested that everyone 'wear a fancy hat'. It was a lot of fun and only a couple of people did not wear one. We had spare hats for them though! ;) :)

The one I wore was red with a flower on it. :)
