Just found this picture on Google and it made me LOL! It took me right back to my childhood as it's exactly what I did if I ever found any shoes laying around. :)

I loved finding my DS stillettos, as not only were they a challenge to walk in, they made a wonderful noise on the wood floor (and oh! I remember, they left marks as well)! :p

My mom never had high heels.:) But my kids (even my ds;) ) love to marr up my floors with mine.:) They wear my heels more often than I do.:teeth: My ds thinks their hammers too:rolleyes: (I have a couple of pairs that have about a 4 inch spike;) ).

Yes, my nephews would try them on as well - not sure that my DS's had 4 inch spikes though! ;)

Oh goodness yes! My mom had some of those really high boots and I used to love putting them on and walking around. She also had her old prom dresses and cheerleader uniform! I had so much fun!

J.C. is 11 and he still likes to put on John's work boots and walk around in them.

I don't remember ever doing that (I don't think my mom wore high heels, and I was more of a tomboy, so girlie things didn't intrigue me), but my mom says that when company would come and take their shoes off at the door, I would sit there quietly tying their laces in knots. Whoever was over would have to spends several minutes at the door untangling their laces before they could leave!! :o

Oh yeah! I don't think I ever did that with mom's good shoes, but I do remember putting on her sandals sometimes! hehe. I also used to put on her glasses and try to walk around with the floor looking all wavy because at the time I didn't wear glasses. Funny thing is, my vision is now worse than hers!

I definitly used to do that! I also loved to tromp around in my dad's cowboy boots, which covered most of my legs at the time ;)

My 11-year old neice decided to try on *every* pair of shoes that I own a few weeks ago, and then parade around the house showing them off. :p

I remember it well.

Sometimes, before my daycare kids get picked up at the end of the day, we will take out our "party box". The kids dress up in kid sized party shoes, purses, necklaces, hats....the whole nine yards. I love when Mom walks in (even better when Daddy picks up) and sees their little boys dressed in party clothes (5 boys, 1 girl in my daycare). The kids love it.....the parents accept it. When they get to be older, I won't encourage this type of play but it's fun now.

I don't recall doing it with my mom's shoes but I LOVED to wear heels as a young girl. NOW I hate wearing them I wear them once every 4 years or so. I loved my dr. Scolls sandals though wore through like 7 prs.
My niece loves wearing her play heels, it was so bad that I bought her a pr of nice white sparkly ones to wear at my wedding.

Sure did..and Mom gave us her old heels so we would leave hers alone....

My sister and I used to do that all the time. What a cute photo.

nope, my girls did though.

Fishy! LOL!!!

Oh yeah...I did that...I called em "tappy shoes"! Something about that sound! I would put on the heels and tap around for a few minutes before I ran outside to climb trees!!! Have to say I spent more time in trees than heels!:) :) CUTE pic!!!
