Ladies.... Can we talk........................

I must have it up. A low pony tail and my neck gets hot. A high pony tail and it's "I Dream of Genie" looking.

I, too, have a chin length bob haircut. I went ahead and styled my hair everyday but instead of flipping it under, I flipped it out and I did not have any problems. I also didn't ride any water rides. I like to use the bendy clips to hold the sides back.

I also kept make-up at a minimum. During the day I did not wear any, just a sunscreen made especially for faces (keeps the oil down) and put a little mascara and lip gloss when we would go to dinner or pleasure island.

Hope this helps!!

I think I will primarily go with a braid down my back as usual, maybe a ponytail sometimes too.

I have SERIOUS hair. It is very thick, curly, and to the middle of my back. In Aug, looking good was not an option! Remember Monica's afro in that Friends episode? You get the picture. I wore it twisted up, in a claw clip. I also wore a black elastic head hand.

LOL, I could have written that same thing! June left me horrid, I tried not to look in mirrors...we'll see if Nov. or Feb are any better...doubt it. The only place I have great hair days is in the desert!

I don't have thick hair but what I did when I went to WDW this summer, I either put it in a pony tail or in a bun, that way I didnt have to worry about it. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to long hair, thats why I almost always have it short.

My hari is a shorter length right above the shoulders and it is very thick with a little natural curl.I keep it cut in long layers. I simply wash and condition it every morning towel dry run some garnier fructis leave for frizz and flyaways run a large tooth comb thru let it air dry or use the hair dryer till its almost dry about 2 minutes the hang up side down run garnier nutrisse hair putty thru it instead of gel or mousse take my fingers and shake my hair while upside down then spritz it . It looks like I styled it. It's not frizzy, big or lacking for body that way and my hhair is not stiff or sticky and stays in place. It's cool and out of the way. All of this is about a 10 minute process. I had really long hair before and with the thickness and curl it was an hour long process and no matter waht I did it either didn't look good or lost its style in 10 minutes. It's all in the cut. And I've had my share of bad ones :rotfl:

I had very thick very long hair but it falls out everywhere and I am getting older so I cut it off. I mean really short! About 6 inches long now. Thank God it has grown out because it was way to short.

I love how easy it is to keep, the savings on hair products and it is cool in summer. Cutting a life time of long hair is severe but I don't have any regrets.

Good luck.

Oh yeah, pony tail, a double fish tail french braid very tight, or a gaint clip.

I have fine hair and 2 cowlicks right in the front (which I HATE!), so my hair tends to go flat after 1 hour of styling (heat or not, hairspray or not, gel and moose or not). I'm currently trying to grow it out and have it down to about my shoulders, so I'm sure this trip I will start out the day with it down and it will be in a ponytail or bun by afternoon.

Last trip it was short and didn't matter, which was great because it was Sept and very humid, which us NEPA's are used to during the summer.

I'd say that I'd wish for thick hair, but if I had it would probably wish for fine hair. Guess I'll have to live with what I was given :)

lol i have hair to my shoulders it usually pulled back with a headband or in a scrunchie for a pony tail

:scared1: You have my hair! I also have bangs that I never know what to do with. Any suggestions?

Thank goodness my DD didn't end up with the cowlicks because I inherited them from my mother, who actually only has one. They drive me crazy and my hairdresser says they are some of the worst he's seen :scratchin .

My hairdresser is amazing and works magic pixiedust: . He taught me to use a roller brush and pull the front part of the hair forward to blow dry with the roller brush. He also said to blow dry the side you want it lay over first, instead of the side that you want to part. It takes several tries and practices.

I also find that it works better to dry the rest of my hair and then work on the front. As far as products I use Herbal Essence gel spray, which is light enough not to weigh the hair down and give it some body. I find that for hairspray, Tresemme 2 to be good for hold without being too stiff and sticky.

Hope this helps :)

I have medium length curly/wavy hair. I usually start the day at the parks with it down, but by the end of the day it's up in a twist with one of those clips. After we've been on rides all day and with the humidity it gets frizzy. Most of our trips to WDW have been in October when it can still be quite hot. Our next trip is in December so, who knows how it will behave with the cooler weather. I have found that Paul Mitchell Extra Hold styling gel does help with the humidity and frizz.

I have thin, straight hair that has to be fixed every day. By the end of the day I even hate to go into a restaurant and eat. I finally bought a hat at frontier land that I take every time I go. I look like a rerun in the pictures. I don't do the water rides or I would be done for the day.

i really don't care about how i look at disney. i'll put on some eyeliner and put my hair in a ponytail and just leave if it's summertime. wintertime i'll put a little more makeup on and maybe leave my hair down sometimes, but i'm too busy having fun to care what i look like lol.

My major problem is at dinner. I wear a bucket hat all day as I have very fair skin that burns easily. When I take off the hat, I have flat, hat hair on the top and bushy, frizzy, flyaway hair on the bottom. Any ideas???

I solve that problem using my sunglasses as "hair band". If you have cool sunglasses, your hair will look cool and not like hat hair!
Head band Mickey Mouse ears will also do this trick ;)

I have very fine, pin straight hair. Of course, I don't like it. My daily routine at home (which only takes me about 7 minutes since I've done basically the same thing for about 10 years) is mousse only at the roots, blow dry upside down with ceramic round brush, hairspray each section lightly and then curl with large barrel curling iron to the root, let sit for about 10 minutes (while I brush and floss and get dressed) to cool down and "set", comb out, finish with hairspray...watch fall flat in about an hour (but not quite as flat as it would had I done nothing). My routine probably won't change much, but instead of curling it all the way through, I'll curl the ends under (and let them fall however they will) and pull my hair up in a high ponytail or twist it up and around and go for "messy". My hair is almost to the middle of my back. I don't have bangs, but since my hair is so fine, it falls out of clips and hairbands easily. I can't stand to have the front of my hair fall out, so I'll clip the front back with a small little snap clip. Always with a small twist and a shot of hairspray (to keep it in place so it doesn't do the "slide"). Also, to keep my hair looking shiny and somewhat together through the day, whenever I make a pit stop to the ladies room, I'll take the pony down and run a brush through it and toss it back up. I always feel better when I think I look my best...I think a lot of us women do! I don't care if I'm in Disney and sweating like a pig and getting drenched on rides...I always like a little mascara and lipstick/gloss. princess:

I LOVE MY PONYTAILS!!!!!!! And my baseball hates keep the sun off your face and now matter how much you sweat you can't tell cause your hair in under your hat!!! But for someone with you hair maybe try a cute visor , all have tons of them all over the park and they look really cut too!!!! Good luck and have a blast!!!!! pirate:

I use a rolled up/folded up bandana...it keeps the hair off my neck and out of my face and looks cute even if it gets wet.

Walmart has them in about every color scheme imaginable!

YES YES YES! Sunglasses are a MUST hair accessory! For inside meals or at night when nothing else works, put your sunglasses on the top of your head - for some reason, for me, it distracts from the mop I call my hair. Honestly, I take along 15 hair products, the super mega blow dryer, straightening brushes & the flat iron....but I always end up washing it every other night while the kids are settling in & wearing it in a ponytail the 1st day, then a ponytail & baseball cap the next. Luckily my hair is dry so I don't have to wash it every day if it's going in a ponytail. It saves soooooo much time in the am. Being in WDW becomes all about the magic - not my appearance in the magic! Everytime I look at past pics in the heat & humidity I think "wow what a bad hair day I had" but I couldn't care less when I'm there!
