Hi Ladies,
I am looking for advice on the best face coverage for days in the park. I don't like to wear heavy makeup or foundation everyday, but want to wear a little coverage while in the parks. I like something with a little color and possibly SPF, maybe something similar to a CC cream? However, I am very easily acne prone. I have pretty clear skin, but any changes to something oily or that clogs pores causes issues quickly.
I have trialed Aveeno CC cream, but it did cause blemishes within 2 days of wearing.

I am hoping someone has some good suggestions of something else to use? Not too heavy like a full foundation, but has some slight color? Help pls :)

TIA

My go to is Nutrogena (sp) factor 70 face sunscreen and mineral powder. Matte finish, no oils, easy touch up with a pressed powder compact.

You might want to consider a tinted moisturizer. I have very oily skin and I've used several brands (Stila, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown) and they are all very light weight and have at least SPF 20. They've never made my face feel super oily. I cover with a light finishing powder.

I'm prone to breakouts as well. I use Stila tinted moisturizer. Has a little color and also SPF.

It cosmetics from Ulta, has a great CC cream and tinted moisturizer. SPF 50

I am the same, and I use nothing with cream, oil or moisturizer in the name in hot weather.... just...no! bb,cc etc. ( I moisturize at night only before bed)Neutrogena makes a water/liquid type face sunscreen that I use on my face,it's a tiny bottle but perfect for oily faces in summer, along with Bare minerals matte foundation powder.... along with a great non melting eyeliner(Sephora brand pencil works great and is only $10,or Stila liquid brush pencil) that's all I can do it the heat or my 'look' just melts off!

2nd going to Sephora for easy returns if you don't like a product.... I returned 3 eyeliners this month, but found a great, cheap alternative that I love, and works great!(Sephora Brand pencil, has great staying power)

My regular skin regiment is:
wash
wipe down with a toner
Apply moisturizer/skin corrector. I LOVE Studio 35 Dark Spot Corrector moisturizer http://www.drugstore.com/studio-35-beauty-dark-spot-corrector/qxp572543?catid=182916 It's inexpensive and readily available at most drug stores.
Apply face sunblock
Dust over with pressed powder
Eye liner (Laura Gellar Inkcredible liner...EVERY other brand melts into raccoonville)
lip liner and tinted lip balm (Ulta)

***Note...on vacation, stick your moisturizer in the fridge. nothing better than coming home after a hot sweaty park day, showering and slathering on cold moisturizer!

My dermatologist recommends using Elta MD tinted sunscreen with a light dusting of powder (no additional foundation). I've used this for years and have always been pleased.

Liquid foundation that becomes like a powder is lightest on your skin or Bare Minerals. Bare Minerals would probably be the "healthiest" option.

If you are prone to breakouts, I suggest one of the two options:

1 - Stick with what you do at home while you are on holiday. If you are prone to breakouts, any changes to your skin, along with Florida weather, will definitely do a number on your skin.
2 - If you are going to do a new regimen for your face, start it a few months before leaving for holiday so that your skin can adapt to the changes.

If I'm going to be outside most of the day, I put on Aveeno Baby or Neutrogena (high SPF) and then put on Bare Minerals "foundation" (it's a powder) on top.

I know your question has been answered, but I highly highly suggest checking out the reddit pages for makeup addiction and skincare addiction. They all obsess over this stuff and can give you a ton of helpful information.
