My friend and I were discussing this last night. We got off on the topic because, it will be four of us (women) in one room at a value resort in November. We were trying to decide if having 1 bathroom would be an issue. We came to the conclusion that I am very low maintenance and she's pretty low maintenance except when it comes to her hair. It got me curious -- do you all consider yourselves to be low maintenance or high maintenance, or somewhere in the middle? I'm really curious about the women, but men feel free to answer too if you want :) Be honest.

I will be watching this thread with great interest ::yes::

I'm in between the two. I like the finer things in life, but I don't feel the need to primp for hours before I go out.

Although, monkeyboy will say that I am high maintenance because it's always, take, take, take with me! ;) :p :teeth:

I consider myself very low maintenance. The only thing I take a while for is showering because my hair is long and sheds a lot so that I need to take longer. But make-up and cosmetics companies don't get much buisness from me :o

high-maintenance gal here. I never go anywhere without make-up, spend $$$ on cosmetics, hair products. When we go out, I usually spend two, two and a half hours gettting ready. I enjoy looking nice and don't mind spending the time and money. princess:

What's really funny though is that my mother was totally low-maintenance and it used to drive her nuts that I was so into make-up, clothes, and appearance. Now I have 3 daughters and my oldest, who is 12, is the exact opposite of me. Total tomboy, couldn't care less about fashion (as long as it's comfortable, she's happy), hates dresses, swears she will NEVER wear makeup, hair always pulled back in a ponytail. I'm always trying to get her to wear some cute feminine clothes , wear her hair down or at least not look like a boy all the time! My other 2, I dont' know yet - maybe there's hope.

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally into the girlie stuff. I love dresses and make-up. I just consider myself to be low maintenance because even when I get all "dressed-up" to go "out", it never takes me more than 10 minutes (not including shower time - that would make it 15 minutes).

princess: As DH says High Maintenance! I beg to differ, I just like very nice things!

I consider myself somewhere in between. I don't spend hours getting ready to go out, I can do hair and make up in about 45 minutes, and I don't wear all that much make up. But I do make sure I don't have one hair out of place! princess:

and I keep giving and giving and giving

In WDW? Extremely low maintenance. My entire routine consists of: brush teeth, shower, wash hair, dry off, put on powder, put on deoderant, get dressed, throw hair up in a scrunchie or elastic band, throw on clothes, throw on Tivas, throw on waist/fanny belt, grab water and room key and I'm out the door! I guess from start to finish 20 - 30 minutes for everything, tops!

Other days, unless it's something special, I'm in between. I love dresses and skirts, but only in the summer time when I don't have to wear stockings or shoes. :crazy2:

I think I'm low maintence, DH probably thinks I'm high maintence so I put somewhere in between. ;)

I do like to spend money...and sometimes on very frivilous stuff. DH says sometimes I just don't that we don't have money for some things. It's not that I don't get it...it's just that it never hurts to ask sometimes ;)

I am so low maintanence, but DH LOVES to spoil me, so it all works out in the end. (DH would probably disagree, and say that he spoils me because i am HM!:teeth: ) Whatever!

I'm low maintenance when it comes to makeup and hair and stuff like that. My goal in life is to be able to walk outside without makeup on and not have people think I just returned from a 2 month stay in the hospital (I know too many women who do the full face every day and you get used to it on them and then they look ghastly if they miss a day).

On the other hand, I require lots of TLC from my husband so in that sense I'm high maintenance. For purposes of sharing a bathroom with other women, I'm low maintenance.

Anyone else notice that the more you look at the word maintenance, the more incorrect the spelling looks?

::yes:: I spell checked it like 5 times!

PS- Beautiful cats :)

I am somewhere in the middle. I dont need money or fancy things...just the basics.

I can primp or not depending on the situation...

But I like what I like and I am not afraid to say it. So, I am in between.

Totally low maintenance. I have a full length mirror in my room but it has never been taken out of the box, it just sits in the corner collecting dust. I rarely look in a mirror-just throw my hair in a ponytail and head out the door. This includes going to school. It's usually one of my guy friends who tells me if I have toothpaste on my face or a zit or whatever because they notice. I don't pay attention.
This whole thing is actually one of my concerns about the NHS conference (see sig) in the fall. I'll be sharing a hotel room with 3 other girls for 4 nights. Definitely wondering how that'll work. We'll be in a Hyatt though, so hopefully we'll have an ok sized bathroom.

Most days I'm low maintance, examples: work (unless :) enough to take the time to put on makeup) and days where I'm just at home doing nothing.

The only time I usually time I where makeup is at Disney (no foundation!!!), fancy dinners, or very :) days that I want to feel like a princess:.
