Ladies, any of you out there ever tried Rogain for Women?

I am 37 and I have noticed that my hair is beginning to thin. My doctor tells me it is hereditary-YIKES! I am considering trying Rogain for Women. I was wondering if anyone has and what kind of success they have had. Also, is is a real pain to do? Thanks!

My mother in law and her sister both have such thin hair that you can see their scalps. They both use the Rogaine spray (I think it's twice a day they use it) It has worked very well for both of them their hair has become much thicker.

A friend of mine went to a doctor and then a dermotologist trying to determine the cause....no dice. However, they did suggest Rogaine for MEN.....works better. She tried it...and has been pleased with the result.

I'd be curious to know also, Bethie. My hair started to come out in small fistfulls about 3 months after being sick early this year. My doctor told me it would start to grow back, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's still VERY thin, especially in the back.

Anyone?
