lactose-free milk?

We are making our first trip to WDW in the Fall and am wondering if any of the restaurants had lactose free milk? DS loves milk but it doesn't love him.

You may want to call Disney dining and ask about this.
When our son was a baby (he is now 14!!!!) we had the same problem with milk. We would buy the lactose reduced milk and then even had to add the drops to reduce it further. Over the years he has outgrown the problem and it no longer bothers him. You may just want to bring along a couple of those little bottles to reduce the lactose even if the restaurants do have the milk you need.

I'm in the same boat as your son. I usually just bring a supply of those Lactaid tablets and I'm good to go - if I remember to take them! But I do know that soy milk is available in many restaurants and counter service places - I had a yummy soy latte at Main Street Bake Shop! Also, lots of places have non-dairy ice cream (tofutti, rice dream). Of course, if your son hates soy milk, this won't help, but I thought I'd mention it.

The other alternative is to call any restaurants you have priority seating for and request it ahead of time. I know Disney really strives to accomodate special dietary requests. Good luck, and have a great time!!!

Thank you so much for your responses! This is something that we have just discovered and I don't want him to feel left out of anything on this trip...he's a middle child to begin with so that's a whole other set of issues!!

I guess I better pack those tablets now...even though we don't leave til Oct!!

I prefer to drink soy milk as opposed to regular milk. I honestly didn't see soy milk anyway as an option (although I would love to know where to look for it!). I did, however, bring my own. Eden Soy (my fav brand) makes soy milk is "juice box" sizes. I brought down some of these. They don't need to be refridgerated either. I just drank one before we would head out to the parks in the morning.
