Lactose free icecream

I know WDW is very accomodating to families with food allergies. My daughter has a lactose intolerance and I was wondering if anyone knows if they carry lactose free icecream in the icecream shops. If not she can have a popsicle type treat. Thanks.

Icecream Parlour at the Magic Kingdom does dairy free icecream. Each park has at least one place that sells Tofutti (if she doesn't mind soy). Biergarten in Epcot also has Tofutti (according to my allergy list). I would email Disney Special Diets and ask them to send relevant info before you go. It can take the whole headache out of worrying and extra planning around allergies and yes, they are GREAT!

Yes, many of the spots carry Tofuti and Rice Dream. Some will just carry Tofuti. Check out some of the Vegan dining reports, that showed some of the spots. Also the disability boards here are a wealth of information. Definately send an e-mail to special dining requests.

It's not an ice cream shop really, but the Dole Whip at Aloha Isle is lactose-free and delicious.

several places we ate at had sugar free raspberry sorbet that was out of this world. i don't know if any ice cream places have it or not or if she can even eat it but it's really good if she can.
