Labor Day

hey everybody!
i was just wondering how crowds and such are labor day weekend. we might be planning a spontaneous trip at the end of summer and that weekend would probably be ideal. also if i wanted to book a room at the boardwalk - does it book up fast or would i not have trouble trying to book just a month in advance??? thanks in advance!

Hi Ariel,

Labor Day weekend is very crowded. I don't know if you'll be able to get a room at a specific resort a month in advance...you may be better off booking it now and cancelling later.

The Boardwalk goes pretty fast, I doubt you'll be able to get a room at this stage, they book way in advance (talking a year in advance). I know because I was trying to get a booking for July 6 and was told that all of the summer was booked for that resort. You can't go wrong with trying, someone is bound to cancel but I would start looking elsewhere as well. Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest times and now they are offering that dinning free plan promo so I expect it to be even more crowded than usual. I would book something as soon as possible or you might not get in. Good Luck and have a wonderful trip.
