My question is; Where are you staged for world showcase entry without early entry? Is it behind Spaceship Earth or after it?

It can change. When we were waiting for friends who did not have ETPE, they were in front of Spaceship Earth, to the right of the fountain. See gold star below.

The last time I did RD for Epcot as a non-resort guest (December 2023) we were held on the other side of the fountain and closer to the #9 on the graphic that the previous poster showed.
