We (me, my wife, my 5 year old son, my 2 year old daughter, our friends (Mr. and Mrs. and their 2 and 4 year old neices)) arrived at Port Orleans Riverside on Friday evening. We checked into the Alligator Bayou and enjoyed the resort for the evening. We got up Saturday morning, ate breakfast at the food court, and then it was off to MGM. It was not very crowded so we grabbed fast passes for RNR and then rode the TOT (me and Mr. friend). We took turns watching the kids for the RNR and then it was off to the Beauty and the Beast show. After the show, we returned to the hotel for lunch, swimming, and surrey biking. We returned to MGM for the Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose. This was our first time at this restaurant and it was GREAT!!!:D It started to thunder and lightning so we decided that metal bleachers were not the place to be. As we got to the exit the rains came and we were happy to return to our rooms. We got up Sunday am and went to Animal Kingdom. It was just as we remembered it, hot and crowded. We watched the Festival of the Lion King (a must see for those of you who have not) and Tarzan Rocks (another great show) and then left. I do not know what it is, but the AK always seems hot, and we are from Tampa so we know hot! After swimming, and resting we went to Le Cellier for dinner at Epcot (definately not our first trip, this is one of our favorite restaurants;) ). Today we got up and went to the suprise am at the Magic Kingdom. As always it is the way to go!:D  :D Before 11am we had ridden Pooh, Dumbo, Snow White, Peter Pan, Space Mountain (Me and Mr. Friend) Buzz Lightyear (My wife and kids and Mrs Friend and her neices), TTA, Splash Mtn (Me, son, Mr. Friend and his neice) ate breakfast at Diamond Horseshoe, ridden the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, had pictures taken with Genie and Aladdin, ridden Big Thunder Mountain (me, son, Mr. Friend and his neice), Haunted Mansion, the Barnstormer, had pictures taken at the Toontown Fair. We then ate lunch at Cosmic Rays and rode the Pirates of the Caribbean and toured the Swiss Family Robinson Tree house (me, son, Mr. Friend, his neice) while my wife, Ms. Friend, and the 2 year olds shopped Main Street. We returned home around 2 pm.:jester: The early entry is the WAY TO GO! :D :) :D  We had a GREAT TRIP!!!!! We definately recommend Aligator Bayou at Riverside, Mama Melrose, Le Cellier, and early entry! :sunny: :earsboy: :earsgirl:  :sunny: :sunny:

mtn........did they like it......and how do you stay in your seat.....is there belts or a holder of something.......I am not yet brave enough to do this.....maybe......just maybe this weekend......would I have to take off glasses ......you know ....ones that help me see...ROFL......or do they stay on your head.......thanks a million for a great report......

We did not take the young ones on Space, only Splash and Thunder. I do not think that they would be very secure on Space Mountain being that it is a single rider per seat. I do not think that your glasses would come off your head.

We live down south in Hollywood and are taking our son for his first trip in Nov. since we are buying season passes, I was wondering about how MK EE was on mondays of three day weekends. It sounds like yours went great! This will probably work out well for us in the future.

Great report, tampafan. How were the crowds?

Saturday was a typical late summer Sat. crowd. Sunday was very crowded. We left the AK after The Festival of the Lion King and Tarzan Rocks for the serenity of the hotel. We went to Epcot for dinner and did not do anything else as it too seemed very crowded. We found out Monday that they had closed the MK on Sunday as it reached capacity. Monday was heavenly, however. It seemed like there was no one there! We went for the EE and left at 1pm. The longest wait we had all day was for Space Mountain - 15 minutes!
