Oh so you're really south. Newark is about 1hr, Phila 1.5hr. Last time we saved $250 by flying out of Phila so it was well worth the extra hr for me.
Let's keep watching....
I was also going to mention Spirt out of A/C. I've considered flying out of Allentown, PA which is about 2 hours from us. The flights for our dates are $145 r/t non-stop on Airtran plus a seat charge and $15 first bag fee. Linda![]()
Was this Airtran out of AC or PHL?![]()
Go SPIRIT from AC. The best prices!![]()

I read on here if you book AirTran through Kayak they don't charge you for picking a seat. We're only going for 4 nights so can probably make do with 3 carry-ons since we have 3 tickets.
Thanks but Newark is about 1.5 hrs drive. Philly is about .5. It would have to be a really big savings for me to want to add 2 hrs RT.
I've flown out of Baltimore back when fares were cheap.![]()
Just keep in mind all the baggage fees with Spirit now.
Baltimore seems to always be cheaper than Philly whenever I go.
I am online right now and I see a non-stop flight going down on Friday at $92.00 leaving at 7:25 am.
And on Tuesday, coming back there are a few non-stop flights for $92.00, leaving at 2:46 pm and 8:05 pm.
