Labor Day Weekend 2013 Roll Call

We're undecided - not sure if we're going Aug 31-Sept 2 or Sept 5-8. We'll be staying offsite this trip because we started doing it in February for these long weekend type of trips & LOVED it, even though I didn't think I would.

I'll be there during all those dates. Not sure how much research you have done, but MK is open until 11pm on 8/31, and 1am on 9/1. DHS is open until 10pm on 9/2. On the flip side, MK closes at 7pm on 9/6 & 7 for Night of Joy. If you like later evenings in the parks, I'd avoid Sept 5-8.

I wonder if the start of College football that weekend, and a lot of the NFL preseason will have a positive impact on the crowds? I know here in Alabama you wont find anyone anywhere but planted in front of a TV Sat night when Bama plays VA Tech.

We'll be there Sept 1-13 at CR. First week is for Experience Conference at CR. The doing NOJ the 6 & 7, then vacation!

We'll be there WL CL /30 to 9/2, We are staying offsite on 8/29 and going to start the day at Sea World until just after lunch, then we are moving over to WL for the weekend.

Unless something has changed again MK is open until 2 am on 9/1, that is our last night and we have plans to be there. It was originally midnight, but I looked last week and it had changed.

AKL Aug 31-Sep 5th. I went Friday-Monday Labor Day weekend last year and we never felt like it was all that crowded.

We went Friday to Sunday and it didn't seem crowded at all. This year they are having 2 huge car shows (1 at CSR and 1 at the WDW Speedway), so I don't know if that will have an impact on the crowds or not, I hope not.

Might cause a problem later in the day since they package they are offering for the resort comes with 2 free after 4pm park passes. I guess it really depends on if anyone that comes for the car show is interested in anything else.

8/31-9/5 Only 9 sleeps more!!! I'm super deduper its our first WDW My DS13 looooves Mustangs so I'm hoping to be able to view some of the cars on 8/31 as we aren't doing a park...does anyone know if its a ticketed event for viewers??

AS far as I know, from what I read, Mustangs at the Mickeyard at the WDW Speedway is free, I know the one at CSR Dream Cars Weekend is free.
